Tyler Junior College

Koranga made history when she signed her NLI to play for the Sun Belt Champions, becoming the first female born in Kenya to play NCAA Division I basketball . The 6-1 forward comes to Troy after a stellar junior college career where she was ranked as the No . 2 JUCO recruit in the country by World Exposure WBB . The highly rated signee was named the 2020 WBCA Two-Year Player of the Year and a First Team All-American by both the WBCA and the NJCAA . Felmas earned All-America honors this past season after averaging 19 points and 13 .1 rebound per game in 31 starts while notching 26 double-doubles . She averaged 14 points and 10 .5 rebounds as a freshman to earn NJCAA Second Team All-America honors while being named the Region 14 Freshman of the Year . In just two years at Tyler Junior College, Felmas scored over 1,000 points and grabbed 750 rebounds . While playing for the Kenyan National Team, Felmas was known for grabbing rebounds as she was the top rebounder for her country

Before Troy

Talasimov’s hometown of Lloret de Mar, Girona is a Mediterranean coastal town in Catalonia, Spain . Before she came over to America to play at Jefferson College, Talasimov was a force on the basketball court . She helped lead her team to three Catalan Championships in 2014, 2015 and 2017 while also competing in four Spanish championships, 2014, 2015 and two in 2017 . Talasimov will have three years of eligibility remaining when she arrives at Troy for the 2020-2021 season .

Dominique Camp

Sinclair CC

Camp comes to Troy as a decorated junior college player after earning Ohio Community College Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference and All-District XII honors while also being named the OCCAC Defensive and Co-Freshman of the Year this past season . While at Sinclair CC, Camp started 27 of the 29 games she played in averaging 19 .1 points and 8 .9 rebounds per game . The 5-9 guard had a knack for finding the open shooter with 193 assists, 6 .7 per game . Her 193 assists were also the third most in the nation . Camp prepped at Lakota West High School where she was an Ohio-Kentucky All-Star and a District 15 All-Star while earning All-GMC 2nd Team honors . In 2019, she helped lead her team to a 23-3 record, a GMC and Sectional Championships

Janiah Ellis

Freshman | Guard | 5-9 Thomasville, Ga. | Colquitt County HS 11

High School

Ellis put together an impressive high school career, winning a total of 80 games in her career . In each of her final two years of high school Ellis earned player of the year honors and 2nd team all-state honors . During her senior season she averaged 20 .8 points, 6 .7 rebounds and 3 .5 assists per game . As a junior and put up some eye-popping numbers on her way to the Sweet 16 . In 26 games, she averaged 21 .7 points, 7 .7 rebounds . 2 .9 steals and just under a block per game . As a freshman, she averaged 13 .3 points per game and was named a first team all-region player while also being invited to the Georgia All-Star game . In high school she also played volleyball, soccer and ran track .

SharoniCa Hartsfield 22

Freshman | Guard | 5-5 Oklahoma City, Okla. | Putnam City West HS

High School

Hartsfield stared at Putnam City West in Oklahoma City, Okla ., where she was a three-year varsity member . In her three years she won 69 games and an Oklahoma State Championship in 2018 . As a senior Hartsfield was named the defensive player of the year and earned first team all-state honors while also earning Tarkanian Classic All-Tournament Team honors in Las Vegas . Hartsfield also ran track in high school where she earned all-state honors in the 200m dash, the 4x100 and 4x200m relays . She ran the second best time in the 200m dash with a time of 25 .9 seconds .

Samira Moore

Freshman | Forward | 6-0 Troy, Ala. | Charles Henderson HS 15

High School

Moore is a hometown signee that played for Troy women’s basketball alum, Dyneshia Jones at Charles Henderson High School . Moore held guide Charles Henderson to two Alabama State titles and a Final Four appearance in her final three years of high school . In her career she earned multiple all-tournament team and all-star team honors while averaging 22 points per game during her career . Away from basketball Moore played volleyball and was a member of the Beta Club, national honor society, the Dothan Super 8 and won first-place at the New York Choir competition .

Jelissa Reese 23

Freshman | Guard | 5-9 Cordele, Ga. | Americus Sumter HS

High School

Reese was a scoring machine in high school, averaging double-digits in all four of her seasons on varsity . Her best season came as a senior where she averaged 20 .9 points, 10 .4 rebounds, 4 .2 steals, 3 .4 assists and 0 .7 blocks per game . During her senior campaign she led Americus Sumter to a 29-2 record and a Georgia 4A State Championship while earning first team all-state honors . She posted career-highs with 41 points and 14 rebounds in a game vs Cairo . As a sophomore she averaged 16 .8 points per game, 5 .7 rebounds, 3 .8 steals, 1 .5 assists and 1 .1 blocks per game . Reese also played softball in high school and was an honor student with a 4 .0 GPA and ranked third in her class .

Kennedi White 24

Freshman | Forward | 6-1 Powder Springs, Ga. | Hillgrove HS

High School

On her way to earning all-state honors, White averaged 10 points a game, including double-digit scoring nights in 14 of the 28 games she played in . She shot 68 percent from the line and 40 percent from the field . She was named the most improved player on her team while also earning athlete of the week honors after bringing down a season-high 19 rebounds against Marietta last January . She earned all-tournament team honors at the Pope Holiday Classic .
