Endorsement Letter to Muhammed Khalilullah Dear Members of AIESEC in Thailand It is my pleasure to endorse Muhammed Khalilullah as our next President of AIESEC in Thailand 201415. I believe in two qualities about next president of AIESEC in Thailand. 1. 2.

He or she should have experience suffer and joy, failure and achievement, from this entity. He or she must be able to make each LCs more ambitious than the MC.

Connection between and entity to individual and individual to individual are one of the key essence in leading this entity. By having an inspiring Troy and understanding Didi was what driven this entity in the past 2 years. It can only happen when you experience both winner and looser moments that you get to know how our members feel and what bottlenecks are. No matter how much you experience from other places, this land of smile is so unique that you cannot find any culture similar to here. We are sensitive, value base-oriented, warm, and at the same time work very hard when the environment is right. I believe next president of AIESEC in Thailand has to understand this well in order to bring out the strength and bring in what missing in this entity. Simple strategy that everyone can understand is what in my opinion is missing. This required a leader who know AIESEC in Thailand well and have macro perspective. Khalil does not speak much, but his limited wisdom words can cultivated our strength to the maximum. MCs cannot anymore be the key people motivating the LCs to grow or tell LC what to do. The next president should not be someone who pull and push the entity to the goal, but to give direction and challenges each LCs to beat them. I soon believe that soon the idea of “We cannot do anything without MC” will soon be gone and replacing by “We might not grow this fast without smart and hard-working MC”. Our next president should remain in the position where he can see the overall picture and make sure we are walking together strategically; this is in my opinion the leadership style of Khalil. I can foresee the scenario that LCPs wouldn’t ask MCP what to do, but consulting with MCP what is the best choice instead. This will require every LC to be selfmotivated and helping each other out, everything will not be centralized by MC anymore. This is the only way I can see we will become “First-choice partner of every Stakeholders” I know Khalil since we both applied for MCVPER and because of my awesomeness he got MCVPMarCom instead. I would like to share shortly that among every candidate that I ever talk to in my 5 years experience, I feel most connected to him since in the beginning. We rarely have things in common but for some reasons our thought are align. We both believe in simplicity and innovation. We also work base on vision and trust we have for the entity. The time that I feel this guy should be next president is when I asked him for his motivation, he said “We are on the edge of either being top entity or back to basic again; I do not see anyone else can do it but me at this moment”. These words with self-confidence with hidden love for this entity confirmed me to trust this Indian-look guy to take care of my babies in the next one year. I want you all to vote for him. As it is not that we have no other choice, but it is actually the best choice who applied. Contact me for more logical and fluffily reason why you should choose him via takarn.a@aiesec.net

Sincerely,

Takarn Ananthothai Member Committee Vice President External Relation AIESEC in Thailand 2013-14
