AREA DI LAVORO 1: URBAN DESIGN / ARREDO URBANO Scenario In diverse cittĂ lo sport viene praticato anche in luoghi non sempre progettati per ospitarlo: piazze, strade, parchi, parchetti, vicoli, parcheggi, infrastrutture. Brief Ideare oggetti, progetti di arredo urbano, soluzioni a budget ridotto, per agevolare questo tipo di attivitĂ , a beneficio sia di chi le pratica, sia di chi usufruisce degli spazi senza praticare sport.

WORK GROUP 2: COMMUNICATION LAYOUT

Context

The URBAN DESIGNS and related objects or solutions will be new and un precedented and thus not always immediately evident. Brief Design and create presentation boards apt at communicating the functions of the projects created by the URBAN DESIGN group. You may use sketches, computer layouts, info-graphics, etc.

WORK GROUP 3: SIGNS WITH POSITIVE CONNOTATIONS / HOT SPO(R)T Context Current signs, bill boards, etc. are designed with negative connotations: they always indicate the activities one CANNOT do. Brief Create new signs that encourage spontaneous physical activities in open spaces. (And possibly indicates how to practice sports respecting everyone’s activities and right to use the space)

WORK GROUP 4: BRAND IDENTITY Context Tracce di sport (also identified by its acronym TDS) is exploring new ways to define and communicate its visual identity. Brief

Design a new Brand Identity developing it in 3 areas: - Logo - Coordinated Image - T-Shirt: not just a tool to show off the logo but a way of inviting people to practice sports.

WORK GROUP 5: KEY-VISUAL AND PAYOFF Context Other than its Brand Identity, Tracce di sport is also searching for a visual and a motto/payoff capable of instantly communicating the essence of the project. Brief

Offer designs and options for a key-visual and motto/payoff to be part of a poster that can be used on diverse media platforms.

WORK GROUP 6: VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHIC ENQUIRY Context Tracce di Sport in Florence: Which are the areas of the city that are used for spontaneous sport activities? By whom are they used? At what age? How? Brief

Research and develop photographic and video materials to identify the spontaneous sports behaviors in Florence, emphasizing the relationship between sport and society. Video and photos may be used in the social media channels of Tracce di Sport.
