The project is a complex of 3 large private houses with swimming pools (north, south, central) and 1 caretaker’s house with water and desalination tanks (west). My responsibilities in this project included, the creation and correction of all the drawings needed to issue the building permit for this project. Moreover, I was responsible for the detailed elevations and sections of the interior spaces of the houses. Upon meetings with mechanical and civil engineers as well as the project’s team, I adapted the design of the underground tanks and sections. In addition, I conducted market research for bathroom furniture and accessories, which I adapted to the drawings. Finally, I made sure that all the drawings from site plan to sections - complied with the local urban and construction regulations. This was the most rewarding project, as it offered me the experience and basic knowledge of how to communicate the drawings to the builders and took me through the whole process of issuing a building permit. Finally, I learned to comply and research regulations/codes and to communicate with specialists from other disciplines.

Private life within a city is subject of change through time which is mostly influenced by the greater complexities and as a result greater densities that humans gradually impose on growing cities. Getting information from the evolution of the house from the Archaic to the Classical period and being influenced by Olynthus block of houses, I applied the same principles of functions and proportions into my city’s blocks that measure about 50x50m. * The archaic and Hellenistic house, after 1000s of years, has now been proportionately transformed into an apartment of a modern dwelling block which belongs to the 3rd zone.
