Polk County residents register to vote at the Polk County Board of Elections, located in the Womack Building on Courthouse Street in Columbus. Hours are Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Mail-in forms are also available at the Board of Elections office, the Polk County Library and the Department of Social Services

Landrum residents may register to vote at the Landrum City Hall, 100 N. Shamrock Avenue. Phone: 864-457-3000. Hours are Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To register by mail, obtain a form from the Landrum Branch of the Spartanburg County Library and mail to: Voter Registration, P.O. Box 1287, Spartanburg, S.C. 29304, 864-596-2549.

The Spartanburg County voter registration office is located at 366 N. Church St., Spartanburg, S.C., and is open Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. South Carolina residents may also register to vote when applying for a driver’s license. Landrum residents vote at Landrum United Methodist Church.

Lake Lanier and Gowensville residents can register to vote at the Greenville County Registration and Elections Office, located at Greenville County Square, Suite 1900, 301 University Ridge, Greenville, S.C., 864-467-7250. The office is open Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. To register by mail, call for forms. Lake Lanier and Gowensville residents vote at the Gowensville Community Center, 14186 Hwy. 11.
