The 90’s fashion is back! Fashion in the 90’s was colorful and loose fitting, except for the soft grunge look. The soft grunge look was very popular back in the 90’s and it’s back again this year, 2014. It all started when girls on a social media site Tumblr blogging pictures of their pastel grunge outfits. It is a fashion trend and style popular this year. Probably around May this year when it got very popular; I saw many of my Facebook friends, cosplayers, and Instagram friends that I follow would wear this style every day. It’s lazy and sloppy looking while still looking cute. The grunge look is incorporated with elements of hipster and gothic. Soft grunge was originated on Tumblr around 2010. The gothic style originated in 1979 when Bauhaus released the song "Bela Lugosi's Dead”. The hipster style originated in the 1940’s.
