Walt Disney used to say, “Get a good idea and stay with it. Persist and work at it until it’s done right”. It is precisely from these words that we like to take inspiration every day to fulfil our mission in the world of hospitality. It has now been 87 years since grand father Donato, with determination and foresight, realized his dream of becoming a hotelier, building the Belvedere. Since then, from gener ation to generation, we have never stopped looking for something new, to modernize the ambience, maxim ise the services offered and give our utmost commitment to ensure that a holiday at our Alpenresort is full of memorable experiences to share. In keeping with the initial citation, for this Winter Edition of Portrait we have decided to choose some of the most famous Disney feature films, fun and instructive at the same time, able to delight children as well as adults. We hope at we at Belvedere can be the same over time: always a perfect holiday destination, for all ages.

You don’t need twenty mat tresses like in Princess and the Pea to sleep comfortably, because our king-size beds already promise nights of good rest. Be tween functional facilities and excellent services, here you have everything you could wish for. First of all, space: our rooms are all large and airy. We have a variety of solu tions to satisfy the different needs

of our guests. They range from the Luppolo and Lavanda rooms, perfect for couples, to the refined Junior Suites inspired by the local flora, to the welcoming Family Rooms - with connecting doors - to the marvellous Suites, the maximum expression of comfort. Their styles are also different: each has its own layout and design, all recalling the Alpine tradition with

the bountiful presence of wood. The atmosphere is warmed by earth tones, and there is extreme attention to detail. Our rooms are an ideal setting for reading, relax ing or pampering with the family. Aufguss – Performed by our sauna master Aurora, this ritual involves jets of steam generated by skilfully waving a towel near the hot stones, after having bathed them with aromatic essences. In addition to intensifying the sensation of heat, it improves the skin, the metabolism and the lymphatic system.

The innovative Sp.a_System paths reveal it to you, designed to achieve specific wellness goals - relax, tonic, purify, excite - marked by four different colours.

Sometimes, we would really like a magic potion to exist, to be stow the perfect superpower for every occasion. During your vacation, let us take care of it! Our bartenders are a bit like superheroes, as their name suggests. For example, they know how to read your mind and then make exactly what you wanted to appear as if by magic. Whether it’s a delicious hot chocolate or a bombardino with cream on your return from skiing, a spicy mulled wine - classic or with juice apple - to sip

with a lake view, an after-lunch coffee prepared to perfection or excellent cocktails such as a Manhattan or Black Russian to cap off the evening. Trust them, and be amazed! Last but not least, they have the precious gift of listening, which is rare and always appreciated.

At the Alpenresort Belvedere we also have two “secret chambers”, where we keep authentic treasu res: the wine cellar and the Cigar Room. The first is not hidden at all; on the contrary, it is visible in the restaurant and conserves the best bottles of local, as well as Italian and international origin on traditional wooden shelves. The second, on the other hand, is accessed from the Lounge Bar. In its relaxed at mosphere, you can slowly sip fine aged rums, harmoniously paired with fine chocolate and, of course, a good cigar.

day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey,” said the sweets-lo ving bear Winnie the Pooh. Following his philosophy, children will never be alone: they will be able to meet many other friends and play under the care ful supervision of the entertainment staff and the eagle Oliver, our cute little mascot. From this year, the

activity programme is even richer, with targeted indoor and outdoor proposals and divided by age groups: works of Art Attack, exciting tournaments, group dances, skating by the lake ... Is that all? Not a chance! The whole family can take part in the outings organized by Activity Hotel or visit the attractions

of the plateau, such as the Andalo Life Winter Park or the library-igloo on the ski slopes. Finally, our younger guests have their own swimming pool with slide and water games as well as spe cial wellness treatments and delicious kid-friendly menus. This way they learn to appreciate the value of quality time and happiness from an early age.

Would you like a first-hand experience in the “kingdom of ice” and build the snow man Olaf yourself? Then Molveno in winter is the ideal destination, where, in this case, the protagonists are you! The Alpenresort Belvedere will be your castle, located in a strategic position and with a variety of dedi cated services. Don’t want to give up downhill skiing? Our free shuttles will take you to the nearby Andalo area in a few minutes, and you can skip the queue at the ticket office by purchasing your ski passes directly at the hotel. If you don’t know how to ski and don’t have the equipment, no problem: we have agreements with both rentals in the area and with local ski and snowboard schools. If, on the other hand, you are a “slons” (snow lo vers/non skiers), there is no shortage of opportunities, including lakeside walks, horse-drawn carriage rides and excursions in the silence of the woods with snowshoes. Who knows that, surrounded by so much peace, with a little luck you might even see the reindeer Sven ... or maybe it’s just a shy deer?
