MODULAR CONNECTOR SERIES FOR CONTROLLERS
Modular, hybrid system fits with various headers. This connection system can be used in cars, trucks, buses, agricultural equipment, motorcycles and marine equipment. MCC connectors and headers are used in power-train applications, engine-control units, compartment applications, gear boxes, electric parking breaks and suspension controllers. CMC hybrid connectors mostly hold two different terminal sizes current rating up to 6 and 12A and run at operating temperatures between -40 and +125°C. The connectors have an integrated locking-lever that ensures the connector and header are securely locked together and wire-cap guides the wires .

These connector incorporates a secondary lock plate which when inserted into the connector housing will detect partially mated contacts. The lock plate also increases contact retention and prevents contact damage during mating or unmating of the connector. One lock plate is required for each connector housing. Lock plates are sold separately.

200001 CONNECTOR SERIES These connectors fulfill all the requirements prescribed by the various automotive and industrial standards. They are watertight and they exceed the requirements prescribed by the IEC 529 and DIN 40050 IP67 standards regarding waterproofness. 200001 Series connectors can be connected with existing components and with the devices currently used in the automotive industry (sensors, oil pressure senders, water temperature monitoring, etc.). Preassembled secondary lock which ensures correct and complete insertion of the contact in the housing and prevents it from slipping out of the connector ,cannot be closed if the contact is not correctly inserted in the housing. Both plug and receptacle have a collar to fit additional protective caps if required. The plug connector is equipped with a device which allows safe and easy fastening to a panel.

Useful Informations For Crimping • TERMINAL PARTS Terminals parts are ; 1) Insulation Pitch, surrounds the isolation and prevents it from detachment 2) Conductor Pitch , the part that surround the detached part of the insulation 3) Locking Point; the part that provides the stability sitting on the latch of the connector housing or the locking hole of the terminal 4) Terminal mouth; the point that male and female connectors connect to each other 5)Cove :Mouth cove make it easier for male connectors to be connected to female connectors, foot coves make it easier for crimping. Female coonectors are defined by the male connectors’ length Male terminal lengths are standard; • • 2.8 mm(.110 inch) for electronic goods,for low flow • • 4.8 mm(.187 inch) In automotive segment where 6,3 is not appropriate • • 6.3 (.250 inch) widely used for all segments • • 9.5 (.375)in automotive industries for high flows Rarely it can be seen that 8mm is being used When female terminals are named ,male terminals’ lenght and thickness measures are to be considered.

Terminal Materials: Brass, phosphor bronze, steel and copper are the main metals and alloys used. Terminal Plating Can be done using Copper, tin, nickel, silver, zinc. There are two methods; 1)Pre-tinned

2) Post-Tinned In the form of electrolysis coating is to be done to the final coated product. Coating which is done in the form of electrolysis is the best coating system because it surrounds the product all around. Caoting and Material preferences are done according to the environment and using conditions.For example ; while brass terminal can be used in protected areas and for light loads, nickel plated steel terminals must be used under hard circumstances.
