On arrival in Cape Town, as you enter the arrivals hall, look for an African Travel Inc. representative, holding a sign with your name on it. You will be assisted to your transfer vehicle. Transfer to your hotel with the remaining evening at leisure.

The day begins with a cable car ride up to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain, where you can enjoy breathtaking views. Then discover the picturesque scenery on a Cape Peninsula tour as you drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline. Enjoy lunch at the Cape Point Vineyards before heading back to Cape Town. This morning, visit Robben Island where Nelson
Mandela was incarcerated for 18 years. This historic landmark and UNESCO site pays tribute to the triumph of freedom and human dignity. Return to your hotel for an afternoon at leisure before meeting your transfer to take you to dinner. This evening, discover GOLD in Cape Town. Feel the heartbeat of this unique African restaurant, as you embark on a taste safari from Cape Town to Timbuktu. Your evening starts with an interactive Djembe drumming session which will get you in tune with the African rhythms and songs of the night. A soothing hand washing ceremony completes your interactive drumming experience. Visit Freedom Square, the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Vilakazi Street, formerly home to both Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. After lunch, visit the Apartheid Museum for a deeper look at the humbling and ultimately inspiring journey from the dark days of segregation to Mandela’s release from prison, and his policy of reconciliation rather than retribution.
