AVX
AVX developed its TRJ tantalum professional capacitor series for use in demanding environments that call for higher performance under electrical and mechanical stress, and technical improvements were made that strengthen the structure of capacitor and make it more robust in such environments. Low ESR TRJ capacitors are especially suitable for filtering in power supply applications where they can significantly contribute to smoother filtering performance and long-term stability. They can help reduce equipment size, help deliver a higher power output within a given instrument size and contribute to reducing costs by using fewer capacitors in a parallel configuration.

HONEYWELL
Honeywell Current Sensors Honeywell Sensing and Control offers three types of current sensors: digital inductive, closed loop, and open loop to monitor alternating (AC) or direct (DC) current. From digital output detectors sensing a few hundred milliamps to linear sensors monitoring over one thousand amps, our comprehensive line provides superior, accurate performance at a reduced cost. When any of these sensors detect predetermined signals, the system then performs the designated task: the digital signal’s logic level output may sound an alarm, start a motor, or open a valve. The linear signal duplicates the waveform – often ideal for feedback elements to control a motor, or regulate machine function. Characteristic

HONEYWELL
Honeywell Speed Sensors Honeywell offers electronic speed and position sensors designed for enhanced reliability and an extended life. Honeywell uses multiple technologies to detect a change in magnetic field and create an electronic signal for control system interface. These technologies offer the ability to detect speed, direction, or position of a moving ferrous metal or magnetic target. Sensing is accomplished without contacting the target, and there are no moving parts. This eliminates mechanical wear of the sensor or target. Honeywell offers a comprehensive line-up of Hall-effect, magnetoresistive, and variable reluctance sensors which provide electrical compatibility to most control system interfaces. Honeywell SS361CT/SS461C High Sensitivity Bipolar Latching Hall-Effect Digital Position Sensor ICs in Brushless DC Motors Honeywell’s SS361CT/SS461C Hall-Effect Sensor ICs are used in regulating the electronic commutation in brushless DC electric motors (BDCMs) in place of the mechanical commutation used in conventional brush-type DC motors. The low operate and release Gauss levels (at 25˚C ±40˚C) allow the manufacturer to install lower-cost commutation magnetics, providing the precise motor shaft positioning data needed by BDCMs. The positive (south) operate and negative (north) release points are nearly magnetically symmetrical over the temperature range. These solid-state sensors have no moving parts to wear out, eliminating maintenance and performance problems created by brush wear and the associated dust. Features & Benefits

OMRON
G2RL Relay All inverters have an internal capacitor that can generate high inrush currents, this is a common issue which needs to be considered in the design phase. Omron’s G2RL-1A-E is the most common relay used to bypass the resistor which limits the inrush when the capacitor starts charging. After this inrush current occurs, the resistor is only generating heat losses, therefore the G2RL-1A-E relay can bypass it to carry the full power to the DC power circuit of the inverter. By doing this, the relay carries the full load inside this DC circuit.
