BRADLEY T. EWING, Ph.D. Bradley T. Ewing, a Professor in the Area of Energy, Economics and Law in the Rawls College of Business, was recently awarded the C.T. McLaughlin Chair of Free Enterprise. He received his Ph.D. from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University. He has held faculty positions at Baylor University and Georgia Southern University, and started his career as a research economist for Economic Research Services, Inc. He is a founding partner of the Ph.D. Resource Group, LLC, a private company specializing in economic analysis, consulting and applied research. Dr. Ewing’s research primarily focuses on the economics of oil and natural gas, wind energy and natural hazards. He is on the faculty of the National Wind Institute and the Center for Natural Hazards Research. He has received grants and funding from the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Commerce (National Institute of Standards and Technology), Advanced Research Program of Texas, Permian Basin Petroleum Association and the Texas Pipeline Association. Dr. Ewing has published over 150 peerreviewed articles, and has served as editor and on the editorial board of several academic journals.
