Thank you for registering for the Spring 2017 Career Expo!
Enclosed in this packet of information is all the logistics you will need to make sure you have a successful time at the Rawls Career Expo
We currently have you scheduled to attend the Spring 2017 Career Expo on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017, from 11 am to 4 pm. The Career Expo will be hosted at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center located at 1501 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79401.
We have interview rooms available if you are interested in hosting on-campus interviews. Please let us know as soon as possible so we may reserve a room for you. Employers interviewing the day after the Career
Expo will be restricted to 2 rooms in order to accommodate as many employers as possible. These rooms run out fast!!
All interviews taking place on February 23rd will be Room Reservations only. Recruiters will be in
charge of making their own schedules the day of the Expo. (**If you would like a Pre-Select schedule please let the Rawls CMC know.)
Employer set-up for the Career Expo will begin at 9:00 am. The student walk-through of the Expo is from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Career Expo times have been set according to student class schedules and flights in and out of Lubbock.
We ask that all companies keep their booths set-up for the entirety of the event.
Because many students visit the Expo around their class schedules, it is crucial we give every student the opportunity to meet with you during the advertised time.
If you are interested in shipping your Career Expo materials prior to the event, you may begin sending your items on Monday, February 13th, 2017. Please ensure that your items arrive by Monday, February 20th. Please see included documents for complete shipping information.

Shipping & Event App Info Shipping to Expo: 1. All packages must be labeled and shipped to the Lone Star Decorating (LSD) warehouse. 2. Packages must be received by February 20th, LSD will transport packages to the Career Expo on February 22nd. 3. Please DO NOT ship packages to the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, to the CMC, or to your hotel. 4. Please limit your packages to 200 lbs if you are shipping through LSD. Lone Star Decorating

Directions Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport is located approximately 15 minutes away from the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center and is serviced by Southwest, Continental, and American Airlines.
As you exit the airport onto Martin Luther King Blvd., turn west onto Regis. Proceed south onto IH-27 and take the 6A exit and continue to follow N Avenue Q. Turn left onto Mac Davis Ln, and the destination will be on the right.

Hotel Accommodations Hotel Accomodations: We have reserved a block of rooms at at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center.
1. Overton Hotel & Conference Center- standard king and double rooms are $129 per night. Guests can call 806-776-7000 for reservations. Be sure to ask for the 2017 Spring Career Expo to receive the special rate. The deadline for reservations will be February 7th.
