I am especially honored to accept this chair in the name of E.W. Williams, having known him as an incredibly talented banker. I will use this opportunity to continue my research to promote community banking activities.

S COT T E. H E I N, Ph.D. Dr. Scott Hein – professor, co-editor of the Journal of Financial Research, and faculty director of the Texas Tech School of Banking – was recently named the E.W.
