about me Being an interior architect is very exciting for me. Thinking about how people can feel in the space I designed and how they can evaluate that space is something I have never left while doing my designs. The best thing is to be able to be inspired by everything while designing an interior.

comicbook store instructor / Dr. A. Tolga Ilter project / bookstore design type / retail location / hazzopulo passage area / 200 m² duration / 8 weeks
The aim of this project is to design an ‘innovative retail store’. During the project, information and materials were collected by visiting Hazzopulo Passage frequently. Interviews were made with the tradesmen and people in the passage. The information gathered during the analysis process revealed the close relationship of Hazzopulo Passage with literature and books. Therefore, it was decided to design a comicbook store in Hazzopulo Passage.

02analyzing hazzopulo The poem and story of 'Sere Serpe' poem which in ‘Şiir Hikayeleri’ is starting point of the idea. This realize me we read poems but we don’t know their stories. I try to make a collage about this. When I finish collage the story about Orhan Veli and Bella at Hazzopulo, I realize that it was very excited to see the poem like comic. Finally, I decide to design a bookstore which sells poem/poet comics and posters.
POETİKA:The whole of thoughts and theo-
ries on poetry. Poem isn’t only poem. Poem has story and thoughts. So, there is infinite lines at the beginning and ending the logo. Red, yellow, blue, black and white colors are generally used in comicbooks.

Although no exact document can be found, it is said that Küçükçekmece Ottoman Match Factory started its production activities in March 1897. It is concluded that it has not had a long-term production process.
It is used as an event space and film set by a company that focuses on film and video clips.

Therefore, one of the things that they need is to get psychological support.

2019-2020 fall semester interior design studio IV instructor / Assoc. Prof. Seniye Banu Garip project / exhibition design duration / 14 weeks

The design includes a simple exhibition design that represents the meaning/message/narrative/story/etc. of the poem. It is expected that prepare a small exhibition related with the poem you select. (a wall, an installation, etc. can be generated in scope of the design). Boards will include the visualizations of the design that proposed.
Selected poem is ‘TOHUM’ by Melih Cevdet Anday Dörtnala haberci ilkyazdan Aşağıdan inceden beyazdan Dumanı tüten sıcak tohum Dolan kara toprağı dolan Ulaş yeryüzüne ak tohum
‘TOHUM’ consists of ‘5’ stanzas. This poem is the story of a seed waiting for rain. The seed becomes the symbol of the whole creation, the spring whose name is not even mentioned.
Hay gücüne kurban olduğum Dağ taş dinlemezim hey aman Göster o gül yüzünü göster Önce yeşil yeşil bak tohum Sonra sarı sarı gülüver
Therefore, the slope of the surfaces placed in the exhibition space gradually decreases and the space becomes more refreshed as the seed approaches the sky.
Donansın donansın daneler Kız oğlan kız, alaca kına Tarlalar sebil tek bedava Ver güzelim ver yiğitim ver Pir aşkına fakir aşkına
Anladım farkı neden sonra Tohumdan başka şeymiş bitki Bu küçük deli fişekteki Ne ki? Ağaç mı allı pullu Yoksa ayrık mı, başak mı ki?
Additionally, the lighting of the place changes color according to the subject. (Brown under the ground, blue when reaching the sky, etc.)
Kim bilecek... kapalı kutu Ama bulut, yağmur bulutu Gelir kararır nerdeyse Tohum altta nefes nefese Kulağı gök gürültüsünde.
The stanzas of the poem are written on seperated surfaces for each, and the surfaces are covered with mirrors. Thus, people visiting the exhibition will see their own reflections while reading & listening the poem and feel that this poem tells not only the adventure of the seed but the universe.

2018-2019 invest.color&light in int. arch. instructor / Asst. Prof. Ethem GĂźrer project / prison duration / 2 weeks
‘To confine, secure, rehabilitate or punish: the prison has several, sometimes contradictory aims, but however humane its approach, penal architecture is essentially cruel.’
The aim of this project is to create a criminal character and design a prison for that character, with the information about light and color throughout the course.
QUASAR
A plan
In the United States, seven prisoners whose crimes were not harmed by the state or human life were selected according to certain criteria. These seven prisoners were offered to be the subjects for the new colony to be established on Mars. After the positive response, studies were started.
capsule / single shell Chris has a very flexible and strong muscles since birth. Doctors say that such resistant muscles are not possible in the human organism.
These 7 prisoners are living in a private prison called Kuasar.
They receive intensive training about the universe and space.
They learn about the daily life they will have while living on Mars.
visiting room
One day Chris caused a car accident due to an unfortunate mistake. People were injured after this accident. The judge found Chris guilty and was given a prison sentence.
workshop
Since there was no gravity in space, and the gravity on Mars was far less than on Earth, the muscle structure of the people in the colony would be affected by this situation and would cause great difficulties in their daily lives.
B
Therefore, the project coordinators, who met with Chris, thought that his condition could benefit him.
After the training of the prisoners and the necessary work for the process are completed, they will depart for Mars.
Thanks to the digital equipment provided by the capsules and spaces designed for prisoners; The temperature of the capsule, the values such as temperature can be controlled, the locks of the capsule can be opened and closed, capsules can be viewed by camera for 24 hours, the features such as sound, internet connection can be controlled in these places.
Throughout the journey, there will be capsule rooms similar to the ones in prison.
When they arrive at Mars, they will begin to explore the area and discover what they have learned, and try to build a new life.
