CONTENTS A LETTER FROM THE BEN WEINER DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS CHAIR On behalf of our 350 student-athletes and 150 coaches and staff — thank you for your interest and generous support of Tulane Athletics. As we wrap up a unique and challenging period in the history of intercollegiate athletics, I believe more than ever Tulane is positioned for great success, both on and off the field. You have empowered our student-athletes, coaches and staff to set a standard that others aspire to achieve. The Green Wave Club continues to create opportunities for tomorrow that didn’t exist yesterday, and it is the gift of opportunity that is greatest gift any of us can provide our student-athletes. In a period marked by the uncertainty of social unrest, COVID-19, conference realignment, NCAA changes and lest we forget natural disasters, our student-athletes have successfully navigated each challenge sent their way. They excelled in the classroom, where their efforts have led to record GPA success. They excelled in the community, helping to improve our remarkable city through more than 6,000 community service hours — the most of any NCAA Division I athletic department. And, they excelled in competition with 12 All-America selections, 34 All-Conference selections, seven draft picks, and five postseason appearances over the past year. Our goal has been to not just survive this tumultuous period, but to emerge more united, more inspired, and more determined than ever. As we move through 2022, I ask that you continue empowering the success of our student-athletes and coaches. We are on a mission to excel in all that we do — academically, athletically, and socially. We need you now more than ever. Thank you for your continuing belief in that mission. Thank you for expecting only the finest from us. And thank you for continuing to be a part of the Green Wave Club! Roll Wave!

I remember vividly my days of playing college volleyball at Tulane. The transition from high school to collegiate athletics, while juggling the academic rigor, is a major leap in many respects. I support Tulane Athletics through the Green Wave Club because I want current Tulane studentathletes to know that there are people supporting them from afar who have been down the same path. In the end, the friendships developed with teammates are lifelong and truly priceless.

BILL ELLIS ’89 New Orleans, LA

As a third generation Tulane alum, I have been a Tulane fan for all of my life. I support the Green Wave Club because I feel a renewed commitment to athletics and a desire within the University to achieve excellence at all levels of the athletic program. I have watched Tulane make great strides in its programs recently, and I feel that with better support from the students and alumni, that continued progress will be made to attract the best student-athletes. 5
