High School: Melissa comes to New Orleans from Istanbul, Turkey, where she attended Anabilim Anatolian High School…During her time at Anabilim Anatolian High School she helped her team place fourth in the Turkish Championships.

Personal: Melissa is the daughter of Christine Quentrec and Serdar Kolurbasi…Melissa is the oldest of three with a younger brother, Ata Kolurbasi, and sister, Define Kolurdasi… In the future Melissa plans to either play pro volleyball in Europe or get a job as a consultant in the United States.
