Thank you for your generous support of Tulane Athletics in our pursuit of excellence. Our student-athletes continue to raise the bar on the playing field, in the classroom, and in the community. In 2018, our student-athletes achieved a department GPA of 3.08, volunteered over 3,000 hours in the community and earned the following accolades: • Football: Ade Aruna and Parry Nickerson selected in the NFL Draft; Head Coach Willie Fritz won his 200th career game
• Men’s Tennis: won the AAC Championship; Head Coach Mark Booras named AAC Coach of the Year • Baseball: Will McAffer, Kody Hoese and Grant Witherspoon selected in the MLB Draft • Track & Field: Jessica Duckett and Emmanuel Rotich were named Second Team All-Americans following their performances at the NCAA Outdoor Championships Our success was also marked in ways other than athletic performance. We are proud to have over 1,000 new Green Wave Club members. We increased the total number of tickets sold in four of our five ticketed sports vs. the previous year. We also opened our student-athlete-focused dining facility, the Green Wave Grille, along with many other milestones that could not have been possible without you. As you consider your 2019 gift to the Green Wave Club, please know that every dollar makes an impact and fuels the success of our athletics programs. We look forward to a great 2019, and with your support, setting the new standard of Tulane Athletics. Roll Wave!

submit a letter to the Green Wave Club notifying us of your decision. If there are two (2) failed payments, the ability to use monthly installments will be discontinued. Each year, donors must resubmit the account information needed by the Green Wave Club office to continue the recurring installments.
MATCHING GIFTS Many companies will match your gifts to Tulane University. Please consult the benefits office at your place of employment regarding your eligibility. You may be able to double or triple the value of your gift in benefits by submitting a matching gift. Your initial gift and matching form must be received by the donation deadline, but the matching gift may be completed throughout the year.

HOW TO MAKE A GIFT
There are several ways to become a member of the Green Wave Club. This information will allow you to discover the best way for you to support Tulane Athletics.
Some companies may not match gifts if the donor receives any benefit as a result of the gift. Please check with the Green Wave Club and the matching company to be sure that the matching sum can be used for donor benefits. If the company chooses to stop matching a donor’s gift, the donor is responsible for the entire annual contribution to maintain the benefits provided by the matching gift.
PLEDGE:
ONLINE GIVING
You may pledge to join the Green Wave Club at a specific level and pay the pledge in full or in installments, completing your pledge by the donation deadline. Statements will be sent periodically throughout the year reminding you of your pledge deadline and your contribution balance.
MAKING THE DONATION Donations can be made to the Green Wave Club by cash, check, or credit card. It is important to make all donations payable to Tulane University and include 8
the Green Wave Club in the memo line. The Green Wave Club accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa credit and debit cards.

Visiting your account online allows you to: • View and manage your season ticket information • Update all of your contact information Contributing online is secure, saves time and postage, and provides immediate confirmation that your gift has been received. Gifts to the Olive & Blue Society or for premium seating such as the Jill H. and Avram A. Glazer Family Club can be made directly to the Green Wave Club office by phone, mail or online at GreenWaveClub.com.
GIFTS OF STOCK/SECURITIES Your gift of stock can be transferred to the account of The Administration of the Tulane Educational Fund by providing the following transfer instructions to your broker: DTC Eligible Securities DTC# 0443 Pershing, LLC For Credit to account #: N7M002028 Account Name: Tulane Gift Account Donor Name: [your name] Attention: Jorja Watts To help us track your securities transfer in a timely manner, please inform the Office of Gift Planning at giftplanning@tulane.edu or 1-800-999-0181 of the stock you intend to transfer or the approximate value of your gift, the purpose of your gift, and your broker’s name and phone number, if applicable. Transfer procedures and instructions for Mutual Funds and Foreign Securities differ from those for stock.
MUTUAL FUNDS AND FOREIGN SECURITY GIFTS Please contact Jorja Watts at BNY Mellon Capital Markets to check on the ability to accept the mutual fund and coordinate delivery. Phone 412-234-0439 or email jorja.watts@bnymellon.com 2019 M EM B ER S H IP G U ID E
WIRE/ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER Donors can wire cash donations directly to Tulane University by providing the following instructions to your banker: Capital One Federal Reserve Bank of New Orleans ABA No. 065 0000 90 Account No. 882164004 Credit: The Administrators of the Tulane Educational Fund Reference: [your name] It is important to inform Rachael Yepez with Tulane University Gift Accounting of your intent to transfer cash so your gift can be processed in a timely manner at 504-314-7295 or tugift@tulane.edu.
IRA GIFTS For those aged 70½ or older, it is possible to make taxfavored charitable gifts from traditional and Roth IRA accounts. A total of up to $100,000 can be transferred directly from traditional or Roth IRAs to one or more qualified charities such as Tulane University free of federal income tax each year. There may also be state income tax savings. Amounts given in this way count toward required IRA minimum withdrawal amounts for the year of the gift. To make such gifts, it is important to not withdraw funds prior to a gift, but have the gift amount distributed directly from an IRA to one or more qualified charities. For those with check writing privileges on their accounts, this may be the most efficient way to make gifts directly from an IRA. It is also important to decline all benefits that would otherwise be provided as a result of the gift in order to make a tax-free distribution that counts toward required IRA minimum withdrawal amounts. For specific information regarding your legal or tax situation, please consult your own professional advisor. To help us track your IRA gift, please inform us of your intent to make a gift from your IRA. Contact Rachel
Yepez at 504-314-7295, 800-933-6886 (toll free) or tugift@tulane.edu. For more information about supporting Tulane with gifts from your IRA, please contact the Office of Gift Planning, giftplanning@ tulane.edu or toll-free at 1-800-999-0181.
DONOR ADVISED FUNDS Gifts made from donor advised funds (DAF) to support Tulane are welcomed. However, tax laws and regulations, as well as the guidelines of many organizations that administer DAFs, prohibit the donor or other individuals from receiving more than incidental benefits as a result of a gift from a DAF. Therefore, DAF gifts cannot be used to fulfill individual pledges and cannot be made for event tickets, the right to purchase priority season tickets, or other donor benefits (i.e. hospitality & parking). A donor may still support Tulane through a DAF gift if the donor declines all benefits that would otherwise be provided as a result of the gift. For specific information regarding your legal or tax situation, please consult your own professional advisor. The sponsor of your DAF can provide you with a form to recommend a gift from your DAF to the Green Wave Club. If you have questions about how to designate the Green Wave Club on your grant recommendation form, please contact Rachael Yepez at 504-314-7295 or tugift@tulane.edu.
TAX INFORMATION/DISCLAIMER Contributions to the Green Wave Club are deductible to the extent that they exceed the value of the goods and services Tulane provides in return. Contributions to the Green Wave Club that are eligible for the right to purchase tickets for seating at an athletic event are no longer tax deductible. Tax reform effective in 2018 repealed the 80% deduction for these gifts. Please consult your tax advisor about the deductibility of any contribution to the Green Wave Club. 9

PRIORITY POINT SYSTEM Priority Points are used to rank Green Wave Club donors and allocate tickets to popular sporting events such as conference and NCAA Tournaments as well as fulfill seat upgrade relocation requests. The Green Wave Club recognizes the commitment from our supporters as alumni, donors, and season ticket holders. Therefore, each core area is recognized within the priority point structure.
WAYS TO ACCRUE POINTS
USE OF THE PRIORITY POINT SYSTEM
Points are allocated as follows:
Away Games, AAC Postseason Games/Tournaments, and Bowl Game Ticket Assignments
• 1 point awarded for each $100 donated to the Green Wave Club* since 1980 • 1 point awarded for each season ticket purchased since 2014 • 5 points awarded for being a Tulane Alumni (maximum one-time award of 10 points per account) • 5 points awarded for being a Tulane Letterwinners Association member (maximum one-time award of 10 points per account) • 5 points awarded for being a Tulane University Faculty/Staff member (maximum one-time award of 10 points per account) *Formerly Tulane Athletics Fund (TAF) The Green Wave Club ranks donors three times annually. The donor with the most accumulated points is ranked number 1, the next highest point total is ranked number 2, and so on. 12
The Green Wave Club uses donor rank, as determined by the Priority Point system, when managing the ticket assignment process for away games, AAC postseason games/tournaments, and bowl game tickets. Ticket locations are strictly assigned in donor rank order.
WHERE DO YOU RANK?
Donor rank increases by the number of priority points earned. Ticket locations are strictly assigned in donor rank order.

Rather than being required to meet donation thresholds to be eligible to sit in certain seating areas, you will select your seats wherever you prefer as inventory remains. If you choose to sit in a priority seating area, your seat location and quantity will determine your minimum Green Wave Club donation amount. Contributions to the Green Wave Club that are eligible for the right to purchase tickets for seating at an athletic event are no longer tax deductible. PER-SEAT DONATION REQUIREMENTS
Per-seat donations represent a simplified system for season ticket holders. Rather than being required to meet donation thresholds to be eligible to sit in certain seating areas, you will select your seats wherever you prefer as inventory remains. If you choose to sit in a priority seating area, your seat location and quantity will determine your minimum Green Wave Club donation amount.
