ASK-A-LAWYER 2021 The Way We Were - The Way We Will Be
Other fun Lawyers Against Pawverty activities are planned for the year, such as a November visit to the bar center by Santa Paws so members and friends can get holiday pictures with their pets. We’ll also be hosting Eat Out for a Cause at a local restaurant with the Community Outreach Committee. We guarantee that the restaurant will have a pet friendly patio so you can bring along your furry friends! Look for other exciting events later in the year to support Lawyers Against Pawverty.
When we advised the Tulsa SPCA that the TCBA has chosen to honor Faith by donating proceeds from Lawyers Against Pawverty for the permanent memorial, Mindy Tiner, executive director of Tulsa SPCA, said “Thank you so much to the Tulsa County Bar for honoring Faith and supporting our agency in this way. Faith was simply amazing. She gave 110% of herself to those causes and people she cared about. The Tulsa SPCA was incredibly lucky to be one of those. There was never a time when we reached out to Faith that she wasn't ready and willing to help. Our agency benefited from her passion and expertise in countless ways. Her legacy will live on forever and we will be eternally grateful for the lasting impact she had on the animals and people in our community. Our hope is her life will inspire others to try and fill the incredible void left by her passing.”

The Animal Law Committee is committed to sharing Faith’s legacy by establishing the Faith Orlowski Animal Law Award, and by contributing to a permanent memorial in Faith’s name at the Tulsa SPCA. Be sure to join us in upcoming Lawyers Against Pawverty activities. You can also make donations in Faith’s honor to the Tulsa County Bar Foundation and note that the funds should go to Lawyers Against Pawverty.
