TCBA Vice President 2021-2022
If you’re reading this, itmeans(1) you’re a valued member of the TCBA or a member of my family, and (2) my suggestion to do away with the VP’s Corner was rejected. For those of you who are valued members of the TCBA, I’d like to start off by saying “thank you” for your support of the Association.
Over the years, I have served in a number of different positions with the TCBA and watched dedicated and engaged members and staff demonstrate how the Association can improve the practice of law in Tulsa County, facilitate greater access to justice, and provide opportunities for attorneys to create relationships outside of the courthouse. As a way of expressing appreciation for the work our members and staff do, I hope to use this monthly letter to highlight the good things the Association is doing and promote some of the unsung heroes who make it happen. In giving thanks, I can’t think of a better place to start thanTCBAExecutive Director,TamiWilliams. When she was promoted to Director, Tami inherited a number of significant projects, including the interior remodel of the Bar Center. The work was completed earlier this year and the building looks great. Tami has also shepherded the redesign and relaunch of the TCBAwebsite, worked to expand the Lawyer Referral Service program, and supported new programs like the First Responders Will Clinic. I can’t wait to see what great things she’ll do next.
IfyouseeTami, besuretothankherforherhard work. And if you have a TCBA project or program to highlight or see one of our members doing great work that deserves to be recognized, please let me know.
