REMODELER’S COUNCIL 2020 YEAR IN REVIEW
2020 was a challenging year for the Tulsa HBA Remodelers Council due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there were many things to be very excited about for this year and look forward to an even brighter 2021.

This year’s Remodelers Council Meetings included the usual open bar and catered dinners. 2020 programing included showroom tours of Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery and Eurocraft Granite and Marble. Both of these tours had a very high attendance and highly satisfied council members. Programming also included informational and educational presentations designed to help all members grow their business and realize greater profits.
In October we had a successful call drive and signed up 16 new Remodeler Council Members and two new HBA Members.
This year’s “Home Remodeling Showcase” (HRS) had 7 live entries and four virtual entries. The HRS allows potential clients to tour projects featuring some of the best remodelers in Tulsa. The virtual component of the tour was used to help overcome homeowner reluctance to tour homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual tour is something we are excited about for 2021 and believe we will gain more entries for customers who are reluctant to open their homes to the public.
The Remodelers Council ‘Evening of Giving’ continues to help our local community and was another success this year, raising over $61,000 for our own Tulsa HBA Charitable Foundation. This event has grown into one of our association’s finest examples of our member’s generosity.

leadership and Tulsa HBA staff, who made this year’s events possible and helping make the Remodelers Council successful. Many thanks to all the sponsors of our council meetings.
