Required training criteria for Armed Security and/or Armed Private Investigator Licensing. Instruction includes weapon nomenclature and inspection, shooting fundamentals, and safety per CLEET standards. Motorcycle Basic Ridercourse Classroom and on-cycle instruction under controlled range conditions using Motorcycle Training Safety Center motorcycles. MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) accredited course. Practice the skills of effective motorcycle operation, braking, obstacle avoidance, and strategies for critical conditions, protective gear, types of motorcycles, inspection, and care. Successful completers of both riding and written tests receive an insurance discount, plus a waiver of the riding and driving portion of the Oklahoma DMV test. Online Courses
Your Privacy & Tulsa Tech
Students must drop on or before the seventh day after the scheduled course start date to receive a full refund.
Failure to attend does not constitute a drop. Credit card payment refunds are issued to the appropriate credit card account. However, all other forms of refund payments are issued in the form of a check that is mailed to the current address and may require up to 3 weeks to process. No refunds for books.
FLEX Courses
Your privacy is of great importance to us. Information submitted will be held in strictest confidence and will be used only by Tulsa Tech officials for admission, registration and enrollment and other similar services.
Classes over 16 hours Students may drop / transfer on or before the second scheduled class meeting to receive a full refund.
Classes under 16 hours Students may drop / transfer no later than the day prior to the scheduled start date to receive a full refund.
Part-Time Classes | Fall–Winter 2019
FLEX classes are not eligible for refunds.
Scholarships Available Call (918) 828-5000 for detailed information regarding scholarship opportunities for our certificate programs and certification classes. Qualifying individuals may receive up to 100% of tuition, books and fees. The scholarship application must be submitted at a minimum of two weeks in advance of class start date.
