L’agricultura ha estat durant segles la font principal de recursos de la gent de la vila. L’anar i venir del poble al camp ha teixit una xarxa extensa de camins que encara conserven unes excel·lents construccions de marges i casetes de pedra en sec, que a més han permès de preservar la flora i la fauna autòctones.

For centuries, most of the local population made a living from agriculture. The comings and goings of people between the village and the countryside created a large network of pathways and roads that are home to many different well-preserved dry stone walls and shelters that, in turn, have protected the local flora and fauna.
