To do this, ARTIUM uses three essential instruments: an extensive, consistent and singular collection of modern art, an ambitious programme of temporary exhibitions and an intense programme of educational and cultural activities, appropriate for a wide range of audiences.

Located in the new residential neighbourhood of Salburua in Vitoria-Gasteiz and easy to access by car, there are 48 apartments, each covering 50 square metres, including one bedroom, complete bathroom, living-dining room, all necessary appliances plus air conditioning and TV. OSANTE Bed and Breakfast Osante B&B is in Labastida belonging to the Rioja Alta Alavesa region. It stands practically on the banks of the River Ebro, four km from Haro, 21 km from Laguardia, 35 km from Logroño and 43 km from Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Aquarium maintains its education goals, its commitment to scientific progress and awareness-raising concerning environmental problems. The Aquarium extension was inaugurated in 1998. In addition to extending the building by adding spectacular services and facilities, including a 1,800,000 litre tank of water crossed by a tunnel, this remodelling was used as a definitive boost to the aquarium's mission: disseminate respect for the ocean, boost knowledge of marine life, conserve and display Basque maritime and naval heritage, develop an education project and give leisure tourism a well-deserved boost.

SAN TELMO MUSEUM The San Telmo Museum, inaugurated in 1902, is the oldest in the Basque Country; it is now reintroducing itself and its new objectives, working from the basis of its funds, almost all of which are related to Basque society. San Telmo is presenting the cultural and historical past as a seed for today's society, from a multi-disciplinary view, open to modern dialogue and debate. The museum currently has over 26,000 pieces divided into several different categories: Ethnography, Fine Art, Photography, Archaeology and History. It should be highlighted that the San Telmo Museum is the only museum in the surrounding area dedicated to Basque society from the perspective of a society museum and at the same time it is the only museum in the city with a Fine Art area. The San Telmo Museum has been completely adapted, giving access to anyone with reduced mobility. The Museum can provide visitors with audio-guides, sign-guides, wheelchairs and zimmer frames. During 2011, guided tours were given with Once and the Begisare Association, offering a special itinerary for the visually challenged.
