Embellece la Europa central, sus costas son bañadas por el mar Adriático, es un país que invita a ser visitado, donde sus cimas nevadas abren paso a laderas verdes y ríos turquesa, sus aguas se filtran en un sistema de cuevas mágicas. Pero sin dudar, el mayor atractivo es su gente. Eslovenia, logró dejar atrás un convulso pasado reciente, ya que en 1991 su gente se involucró en una guerra para independizarse de la antigua Yugoslavia. Después de 10 días logró su objetivo.

Nuestro primer punto de visita son las famosas cuevas, Eslovenia es famosa por su belleza natural, pero sin dudar, las cuevas ocupan un lugar especial. El sistema de cavernas se extiende por casi todo el territorio de este país balcánico, existen centenares y milenarias cavidades que han sido excavadas por ríos subterráneos en busca del océano. En lo personal antes de viajar a Eslovenia, investigué y estaba muy emocionado de conocer las dos de las más visitadas: cuevas de Škocjan y Postojna.
Our first place to visit are the famous caves. Slovenia is famous because of its natural beauty, but without a doubt, the caves have their special places. The system of caves is scattered throughout the whole territory of the Balkan country. There are hundreds and millenary caves shaped by underground rivers heading to the sea. Personally, before traveling to Slovenia, I researched and I was very excited of going the two most visited caves: Skocjan and Postojna.

Es increíble, como la tierra se abre para enseñar un poco de sus secretos, de sus criaturas, y de sus bellezas. Estar a las puertas de las cuevas de Škocjan es una sensación muy rara, ante todo un golpe de miedo invade tu ser, luego todo cambia por curiosidad. Esta formación tiene millones de años y los expertos creen que fue habitada en la era de la prehistoria. Tiene una extensión de más de 6km de pasajes y siempre es acompañada por el río Reka, Según los conocedores, el punto más profundo está a 212 metros de profundidad. La visita puede tardar hasta dos horas, esto depende de los visitantes, pero se podrá apreciar el Órgano, una formación que recuerda al instrumento musical. Un abismo donde el río se esconde llamado Velika Dolina. Al ingresar al Murmuring Cave, los visitantes se impresionan y vuelve la sensación de miedo, ya que el paso es por un puente, bajo tus pies; unos 50 metros de caída hasta el río Reka. Sobre tu cabeza; unos 50 metros de altura hasta el techo plagado de estalactitas. Este sistema de cuevas fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Hay varios recorridos y costos, pero el más popular, con guía y con un costo de 16€ para adultos, 12€ para estudiantes y personas de la tercera edad y 7.50€ para niños.
It is incredible how the Earth opens itself to display a little bit of its secrets, creatures and beauties. Being at the entrance of the Škocjan Caves is a weird sensation, a strike of fear invades you, then everything changes, you feel full of curiosity. This formation is millions of years and the experts believe that it was inhabited in the pre-historic era. It has an extension of more than 6 kms of passages and along with it river Reka is found there. According to the experts, the deepest point is 212 meters. The tour may last up to two hours, this depends of the visitors and the Organ could be appreciated there, this evokes the musical instrument, this type of formation. There is an abyss where the river Velika Dolina is hidden. At the entrance of the Murmuring Cave, the visitors get impressed and experience a fear sensation because they have to go through the bridge; the height is 50 meters where the river Reka falls to your feet. Above your head, there are 50 meters’ height and the caves are full of stalactites. This system of caves was deemed Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. There are several tours and costs, but the most popular, with a tourist guide and with a cost of 16€ for adults, 12€ for students and 7.50€ for children and elders.

Sus formaciones construidas por el tiempo y el agua, es uno de los principales atractivos. Un tren recorre y descubre los secretos del inframundo. En sus enormes salas se escucha el murmullo de los ríos. Este sistema de cuevas es de las más largas, con uno 20 kilómetros descubiertos, pero solo se recorre un kilómetro a pie y cuatro

Un viaje a la época medieval A trip to the Medieval period Cuenta la historia que en el castillo de Predjama, vivió el caballero Erasmo que resistió el ataque del Ejército Imperial por varios años. La línea entre lo natural y lo artificial en esta edificación es muy delgada, ya que prácticamente el castillo está construido dentro de la cueva de Postojna. Esta fortaleza que se impone a la vista a gran distancia, fue construida hace unos 800 años y está asentado en un risco rocoso de unos 123 metros. Este era el escondite perfecto para Erasmo, que según cuenta la historia, robaba a los ricos y daba a los pobres, ya que el fortín está conectado al sistema de cavernas, esto facilitaba el esconderse o la huida. El tour por la cueva de Postojna y el castillo de Predjama cuesta 35.70€, y 11€ solo el castillo.

Hay que recordar de la influencia italiana en su arquitectura, en esta ciudad usted disfrutará un pedacito de Venecia en Eslovenia. Su plaza Tartini está entre casas venecianas de estilo gótico de color rojizo. Otros de sus atractivos es su famoso muelle que alrededor alberga restaurantes y hoteles.
It is the fact of only mentioning the natural beauties in Slovenia. Its architecture is a real gift for humanity, one of the best examples. And another city close to the coast of the Adriatic Sea, Piran. One must recall the Italian influence in its architecture. In this city you may enjoy a little fragment of Venice in Slovenia. Plaza Tartini is within its Venetian houses with gothic style and scarlet color. Another attraction is its famous deck; there are many hotels and restaurants.

Cuando el Imperio romano se extendió por gran parte de Europa, los Alpes Julianos, fueron llamados así por Julio César. Estos nacen en el noreste de Italia y se extienden por gran parte de Eslovenia. Y en su parte más alta llega hasta los 2,864 metros.
When the Roman Empire was spread in great part of Europe, the Julian Alps were called that way by Julius Caesar. They are born in Northeast of Italy and occupy a great territory in Slovenia. And their highest point is 2,864 meters.
En Eslovenia, el corazón natural de todas sus bellezas está ligados a los Alpes Julianos. Los lagos de Bohinj y Bled, son dignos de visitar y disfrutar.

Paraíso terrenal: Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio Earthly paradise: Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio – National Park Manuel Antonio Ubicado en la provincia de Puntarenas, un lugar especial donde el visitante podrá disfrutar de playa, arrecifes coralinos, montaña, manglar y bosque. Es uno de los más visitados de Costa Rica por su accesibilidad, oferta turística y su bello entorno natural.

The park has four open beaches and amusement; the trails may lead you to beaches of white sand: Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondida and Playita. You may walk through the trails of the tropical forest and observe flora and fauna. It is typical to hear many monkey species and birds that live in the area.
Hablando de su riqueza natural, vale la pena resaltar que se han identificado unas 350 especies de plantas. Se han observado 109 especies de mamíferos y 184 de aves. Y en su literal, una fauna marina rica, donde entre otras especies se han observado varias especies de ballenas y delfines. El Parque Nacional, tiene un sendero principal llamado Perezoso, la caminata le llevará varias horas, pero disfrutará de las mejores vistas a la costa del Pacífico, podrá ver de cerca algunos de los animales que de dejan ver en el recorrido. Los guías certificados, pueden ser una buena opción, para sacar mejor provecho a la excursión, y tendrá que invertir por lo menos unos 25 dólares. En resumen, los visitantes podrán disfrutan en una misma zona de playas de arena blanca, arrecifes, manglares, montañas y bosque tropical.

Speaking of its natural resources, it is worth highlighting that 350 plant species have been identified. One-hundred-nine mammal species and 184 birds. Literally, its marine fauna is ample, and many species of whales and dolphins have been identified. The National Park has a main trail called Perezoso (in English “Lazy”), the walk may take you many hours, but you may enjoy the view to the Pacific and you may see very close some animals that let themselves be seen during the tour. The certified guides may be a good option to take better advantage of the tour and you will have to pay 25$. Summarizing, the visitors may enjoy in one-same-area beaches of white sand, reefs, mangroves, mountains and tropical forest.

El Parque Nacional está ubicado a 140 kilómetros de la ciudad de San José, a 69 kilómetros de Jacó y a solamente 7 kilómetros de la ciudad de Quepos. Puede llegar por aire a la ciudad de Quepos y desde allí tomar un bus o taxi al parque. El vuelo le puede costar hasta 90 €.

El horario del parque es de 7AM a 16PM, de martes a domingo, los lunes cierran, el precio de ingreso es de 16€, esto puede depender de la temporada.

La mejor fecha (temporada alta) para visitar el Manuel Antonio es durante la temporada seca, es decir de diciembre a abril. Dentro del parque no hay restoranes ni bares, por lo que deberá llevar agua pura y comida liviana, existen muchas restricciones en algunos alimentos y empaques, esto para evitar la contaminación del parque.

You may arrive by plane to Quepos city and take a bus or taxi to the Park. The flight may cost 90€.

En cercanías del Parque Nacionales, existen un sinfín de hoteles para hospedarse, hoteles exclusivos donde usted podrá gastas hasta 250€ la noche, hasta hostales de 25€.
La oferta gastronómica en las afueras del parque es abundante al igual que los precios. Un plato le puede costar hasta 80€ o puede comer con unos 10€, eso sí, toda la comida es deliciosa.
