“Desktop” section where you can find selections from the projects designs of which have not been completed yet or under progress comprises various projects such as offices, commercial structures, housings, public buildings, hotels and university campuses. You can find the news about the activities performed by Turkish SMD, and İstanbul & İzmir SMDs in the previous term. “Good Things” section comprises the news from the Exhibition of “Civil Architectural Memory Ankara 1930 – 1980” that was recently opened in Ankara. We continue to include the comprehensive interviews we have performed with our colleagues in the “Profiles” section. Our guest in this issue is Ünal Tümer, Builder and Designer Architect. Various types of Quality Projects meet you in the section called “New”. Bayburt, Baksı Museum of Folk Arts, ÇEKA Factory, Bozöyük Bus Terminal and Teknopark İstanbul projects and details included therein. The topic of the “Competition” section of this issue is Architectural Design Competition of Gökçeada High School Campus. The assessment of Kutlu İnanç Bal regarding the competition and the awarded projects is included. “From Competition to Implementation” section provides you with the story of the construction phase relevant to the Pilot Project of Borusan Neşe Factory Competition construction of which was completed and put into operation last year in Adıyaman straight from the first persons that are the institution who held the competition and the designer of the Project who was awarded the first prize. The Article of Ph.D. İhsan Bilgin about the Zorlu Center Project is included in the “Criticism” Section. The technical article of Emre Eker, Sales Manager of Knauf External Facade Dry Construction Systems regarding the renovating Knauf External Facade Dry Construction Systems with AQUAPANEL® and [GUARD]EX® is included in the “Materials/Technology” section.

В разделе “Новости “Объединения Свободных Архитекторов” (“SMD”) мы расскажем о событиях и мероприятиях , проведенных за последнее время отделениями “Объединения Свободных Архитекторов” в городах Измир и Стамбул. В главе “Хорошие события” на этот раз речь пойдет об архитектурной выставке “Sivil Mimari Bellek Ankara 1930-1980”, посвященной архитектуре города Анкара в период 1930-1980 г. В главе “Профиль” мы продолжаем рассказывать о наших выдающихся коллегах. В этом выпуске гостем нашей рубрики стал архитектор Юнал Тюмер. В разделе “Новое” мы расскажем объектах различного назначения, строительство которых недавно завершено, таких как Музей Байбурт Бекси, Здание фабрики “Чека”, Автобусный Терминал Бозоюк, Технопарк Стамбул.
