SUMMARY

The number 19 of our review is now available, once more in a rich and interesting content, presenting you information mainly focusing on İstanbul.

The section ‘’Desktop’’ includes a number of selected excerpts from various just-completed or current projects carried out in respect of diverse structures such as offices, commercial buildings, dwellings, public buildings, hotels and universities.

The news about the activities carried on by the Association of Free-Lance Architects of Turkey (SMD Turkey) and the affiliated SMD associations in İzmir and İstanbul in the previous periods is found in the section ‘’News from SMDs’’.

The section “Projects to the Good’’ contains news about the project concerning ‘’The Church of St. Giragos in Diyarbakır’’ that won the Great Prize in the field of Preservation given within the scope of Europa Nostra 2015 Prizes. This section also gives the news about ‘’Bodrum Architecture Library’’ inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Suha Özkan.

In the section “Views”, Orhan Erdil addresses the problems based on the urban structure in İstanbul and offers solutions in this respect.

In her article in the section “Critics”, Banu Binat voices her criticisms about the urban renewal projects carried out in İstanbul.

In the section “File Folder” edited by Kerem Piker and Hüseyin Kahvecioğlu, we have chosen the subject of ‘’Façade Grid’’ in this number. The articles written by Melike Altınışık and Hasan Şener on the conceptual texture in this context and the details about the projects of Doğan Holding, Doğuş Holding and TAC-SEV’s respect of a New Campus are available in this section.

The section “New Projects” includes the article of Prof. Dr. Aydan Balamir about 44 School Projects carried out by Uygur Mimarlık in İstanbul.

The section we have designed under the heading “Contests” comprises information and the details concerning the projects bid and the ones awarded in “The Tendering Process about the Preparation of the Projects Regarding the Conception and Implementation of Sirkeci Complex of İstanbul Chamber of Commerce’’.

Как и всегда, 19-й выпуск нашего журнала мы постарались сделать наиболее наполненным. Также в нем Вы найдете много информации в области архитектуры от наших коллег из Стамбула.

В разделе “На рабочем столе” мы по традиции рассказываем о проектах, работа над которыми только что завешена или находящихся в стадии разработки, таких как офис, жилой комплекс, отель, университетский городок, здания административного и общественнного назначения и другие.

О событиях и мероприятиях , проведенных за последнее время отделениями “Объединения Свободных Архитекторов” в городах Измир и Стамбул мы расскажем в разделе “Новости “Объединения Свободных Архитекторов” (“SMD”).

В главе “Хорошее”, в разделе “Бодрум. Библиотека Архитектуры”, профессор Сюха Озкан рассказывает о получателе высшей награды “Премии Europa Nostra 2015” в номинации “Сохранение” проекте “Diyarbakır Surp Giragos Kilisesi”.

Орхан Эрдиль в глава “Взгляд” повествует о проблемах и путях решения проблем мегаполиса Стамбул.

В главе “Критика” Бану Бинат освещает тему городских проектов по реконструкции города Стамбул.

В этом выпуске журнала глава “Досье” посвящена Cephe Gridi. В этом раздле под редакцией Керема Пекер и Хусейна Кахведжиоглу, Мелике Алтынышик и Хасан Шенер поделятся с вами концептуальными идеями и деталями относительно проекта “Doğan Holding”, “Doğuş Holding” а также проекта “TAC-SEV Yeni Kampüsü”.
