Providing Safe, High-Quality Care for Our Community EMANUEL MEDICAL CENTER
At Emanuel Medical Center, we know this is a stressful time and there is still so much uncertainty surrounding COVID-19. We want you to know that Emanuel Medical Center is open and safe to care for you and your loved ones. We can provide any needed care in our hospital and emergency department. Your safety is our top priority. Please don’t delay care.
For more than 100 years, Emanuel Medical Center has been the heart of healing in Turlock. We are dedicated to providing the best care possible for residents of Turlock and nearby communities in our hospital, at our comprehensive Cancer Center, in our Multi Specialty Care Clinic and in our Rehabilitation Center.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our exceptional team of dedicated caregivers regularly treated patients with infectious diseases, and we remain prepared and ready to continue to provide safe care. We have been through a pandemic before and as we learn more about COVID-19, we continue to improve our processes and adjust as needed.
If you’ve been putting off your medical needs due to fear of coming to the hospital, there is no need to delay your care. In fact, it can be dangerous to do so. We continue to care for all patients who come to us with healthcare needs not related to COVID-19. This includes broken bones, chest pain, heart attacks and strokes. We have separate care pathways for potential or confirmed COVID-19 patients. Every precaution is being taken, combining strong infection prevention processes, staff training, testing and ample supply of personal protective equipment. We are committed to universal protection and safety for every person who walks through our doors.
Stopping the spread of COVID-19 is everyone’s responsibility. Steps we can take include social distancing, washing our hands often, always wearing a mask in public spaces, avoiding crowded places and disinfecting frequently used areas. We can’t stress enough the importance of these actions in order for us to help slow the spread. If you believe you’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19, contact your primary care physician right away. As always, if you experience a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Please know that our dedicated employees continue to rise to the occasion to take care of our patients. It is all hands on deck for those who need us. Every team member at Emanuel plays a vital role in providing safe, high quality care – from our physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and techs, to our sitters, transporters, housekeeping team and ancillary staff, we are here for you 24/7. We all work hand in hand to provide the best care possible. We have received an outpouring of support from our community. Your donations and acts of kindness for our employees have been overwhelming and we are extremely grateful.
It is our privilege to care for our community and provide the quality service you and your loved ones deserve. The heart of what we do centers on caring with compassion and treating our patients like family. We wish you all the best on your path to continued health and we are committed to assisting you every step of the way.
