Support at Camp Caterpillar

When Hospice of San Joaquin began its mission 44 years ago, it was the only hospice in San Joaquin County. Over the years our service area has expanded past county borders into Solano, Sacramento, and Stanislaus Counties. Our Mission remains the same; to honor the journey of end-oflife care, providing patients with dignity in death and support for families. We opened our Lodi Office in 2014. This office serves as an additional work spot for our nurses and social workers and a meeting location for grief support and volunteer groups.

Lutheran Church. This past March we had 23 children. We will hold a second Camp Caterpillar in September in Stockton. This Camp is free of charge. Children learn that grief is not a process of forgetting but remembering with less pain.
