COMMENTS: The Accomazzo family truly opened the gates at Piazzo Dairy to us here at TLAY Dairy Video Sales. A marketer’s dream, we have handpicked the 3,000 hd offered today. All cattle have passed our visual sort and intense paper sort. All cattle in this sale over 180 DIM as of sale day are confirmed pregnant. All cattle have been individually sampled for Staph and Mycoplasma, any positives have been removed from the sale. We are offering only 1st through 3rd lactation cows today. Sorted by lactation, stage of lactation, and days carried calf. Cattle are sorted into tight windows to fill any specific needs you may have. There are a few cows with brands but not many. There may be a few nub horns. Possibly a few that don’t lock up. Cattle are sorted into sale day lots with a lot ear tag. Because we needed to adjust some of the lots to make even loads, some lots overlap; example buyer of lot 4, will receive some lot 5 ear tags. We are aware of this and assure all you buyers that the cattle you will receive fit the exact description in the catalog. As always these cattle come with a seven day guarantee. Buy with confidence and if you choose to milk sample or reconfirm pregnancy please do so within the seven days of receipt of the cattle. We have had the pleasure of working with this family for many years, and it is our pleasure to merchandise this unique offering of jersey cows today. **Additionally thirty cows of the entire population have been milk sampled for HPAI in compliance with the current USDA Federal Order issued April 29, 2024. All of of those samples were negative for HPAI. The entire population has not been sampled. To the extent your receiving state requires additional pre-shipment testing, that testing will be done at the buyer’s expense and will be conducted once other cattle that are destined for states that do not require additional pre-shipment testing (beyond that is required by the current USDA Federal Order) have shipped.**
