Current Scenario World needs better housing for 7.5 billion people Global construction industry needs a paradigm shift to provide affordable, sustainable and speedy solution To create a tangible improvement in the life of individuals by providing a dignified shelter for all The aim is to build a more sustainable world through 3D printing. 3D printers are capable of building homes from locally sourced materials using solar, wind, or hydro power. This enables regions that don’t yet have access to electricity to 3D print environmentally friendly structures with local resources The main advantage of using 3D printing in the construction industry is saving a lot of production costs on material waste. That's because a 3D printer, such as robotic arms, uses exactly the amount of material they need. Gives flexibility and freedom in complex Architectural forms

Primary + Secondary Studies: Determinant: Structure Compression
Stable Structures
Caternery Arches were invented during the Gothic Period to attain height and make the structure lighter in weight. The structural system works completely on compression. Below is a study model of Anotonio Gaudi’s inverted chain model that utilizes scaled weights to give the form of the building which is later inverted and replicated of designing structure that work on compression. The corners of the square blocks match the cardinal points and, therefore, All the façades have direct sunlight throughout the day, showing the importance that the designer gave to solar exposure. The design takes full advantage of predominant wind directions (sea-land breeze) to facilitate oxygenation and cleanse the city air.

The Open Space
Core of the unit, serving as town meeting area and a center of business. The open space and facilities are spread out throughout the city and integrated into the grid design using the block as a basic compositional unit The combination of several units (two, four, sixteen), has created areas of various dimensions that can integrate squares, parks and facilities of various sizes.

Design Outcomes Group Form
The Grid 100x100m The homogeneous urban fabric is composed of basic cellules: the modules. A module is composed of blocks grouped around a common space that can be occupied by facilities or recreational areas. The modules are grouped in sectors and several sectors compose the district. Maximum façades surfaces have direct sunlight throughout the day, showing that importance is given to solar exposure for energy harvesting. The design takes full advantage of predominant wind directions to facilitate oxygenation and cleanse the city air.

The Street
The avenues represent the territorial scale, while the streets define the local scale The proportion of streets space for pedestrians (with 50 per cent dedicated to pedestrian use and 50 per cent to vehicular traffic) The clear segregation of street sections, ranging from the mainly vehicular street to the pedestrian promenade. The larger grid is composed of main streets that are 25m wide carry the main vehicular traffic, and standard streets that are 15m and 12m wide This grid defines modular units (wards) that are built around square The streets within the module are 4.5 - 6m wide; they penetrate into the neighbourhood unit
