Formula For Volume of A Sphere Formula For Volume of A Sphere Mathematics is a very wide area in which we calculate volumes for various geometries shapes, these shapes have definite shape and size the shapes are cube, cone, sphere, cylinder. But here we have to know about the , but before starting it lets take a close look on volume and then sphere, when we measure some solids in three dimensional space then it comes under volume. While sphere is the any cylindrical kind of object or shape that also in three dimensional spaces like a cricket ball, a football etc they all are called shape of sphere. The Formula for Volume of a Sphere will be: V=4 / 3 ? r3, In above formula ‘V’ is the volume of shape means result. pie (?) is the constant. And ‘r’ is the radius. It is necessary when we are calculating the volume of sphere then we must have ‘r’ means radius if in any case we do not have ‘r’ then we can find it by some formulas.

Such as - When diameter is given radius will be r = D/2, in this ‘D’ is the diameter of circle. When circumference is given then radius will be r = C/2?, in this ‘C’ is the circumference of circle. When area is given the radius will be r = √A/√π that means under root of all, in this ‘A’ is the area of circle. Below are the some simple steps so that we can easily calculate the volume of sphere. First step: In which we have to find the radius using above described formulas and if ‘r’ is already given than no need to find it. Second step: We have to cube the radius by multiplying it three times that is r * r * r. Third step: Whatever the answer we get during multiplying radius three times than we need to multiply that answer by 4/3. Let’s discuss the example to find volume of sphere when radius is given. We have a sphere that has radius of 7.5, than find the volume of sphere? Given r = 7.5 cm. Here V =4/3?r3 = 4/3*?*(7.5) 3 = 4/3*3.14*481.875, Volume of the sphere (V) = 2017.15cm3, This is the example when we have given radius let’s take those examples, when we don't have radius. Example 1: Diameter = 6 than find volume of sphere? First task is to find radius r = D/2, 6/2 = 3 so we get radius that is 3, Volume of sphere (V) = 4/3?r3 = 4/3* ?*(3)3 = 4/3*3.14*27,

Volume of the sphere(V) = 113.04. Example 2: Circumference = 10 than find volume of sphere? First task is to find radius r = C/2?, 10/2*3.14 = 1.592 so we get radius that is 1.592. Volume of sphere (V) = 4/3?r3 = 4/3* ?*(1.592)3, = 4/3*3.14*4.0348, Volume of the sphere (V) = 16.892. Example 3: Area = 18 than find the volume of sphere? First task is to find radius r = √A/√π, √18/√3.14 = so we get radius that is 2.394, Volume of sphere (V) = 4/3?r3 = 4/3* ?*(2.394)3 = 4/3*3.14*13.720, Volume of the sphere (V) = 57.441,
