The First Destination Survey, along with guiding principles, standards and protocols, was created by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) in 2012.
For the First Destination Survey, a graduating class is defined as students graduating between July 1 and June 30 each year. Therefor, Class of 2022-2023 consists of graduates from:
August 2022
December 2022
April 2023
The targeted knowledge rate that institutions should strive for should be a minimum of 65%.
Data should be collected prior to graduation through December 31st of that year For example, for the Class of 2023-2024, we will collect data from before graduation to December 31, 2024. Data for the Class of 2022-2023 was collected slightly later than typical.
In this report, there are comparisons between TU data and national data. The “National Data” referred to here is from the NACE December 2023 report on the Class of 2022 and is a compilation of FDS data from 344 schools across the nation.

58 alumni from the Class of 2022-2023 answered the questions. Out of those 58: 76% of alumni felt their experience at Tiffin University prepared them for their first destination
84.5% of alumni said they were satisfied with their first destination after graduation.
74% of undergraduate alumni felt their experience at Tiffin University prepared them for their first destination 80 6% of undergraduate alumni were satisfied with their first destination after graduation.
81% of Masters alumni felt their experience at Tiffin University prepared them for their first destination. 92.3% of Masters alumni were satisfied with their first destination after graduation.
Too small of a response rate for PHD alumni.
Students who double-majored were more successful in their post-graduation career outcomes than students who did not double-major. 100% of the double majors within the knowledge rate were continuing education or employed full-time after graduation.
Out of the 68 students continuing education, 51 of them are continuing their education at Tiffin University, which is 75%. Out of that 75%:

25% of students continuing their education chose to go to a graduate program at the following schools: Ashland University, BSGU (x3), California State University, Capella University, Capital Law School, Chicago-Kent College of Law, Mercy University, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, Ohio University, Virginia Commonwealth University (x2), William Penn University, Wright State University, and an undisclosed medical school.
