Le pareti rivestite di pannelli, i soffitti a cassettoni, le pesanti cassapanche, i dipinti che ritraggono i vescovi di Coira, che sembrano seguire con lo sguardo: si ha l’impressione di essere in un’altra dimensione temporale e ovunque si posino gli occhi il bello trionfa. Straordinario sono le finestre, ingrandite da Gottfried Georg Haas nel 19° secolo. “Una cosa del genere non sarebbe più concepibile oggi, la Soprintendenza non lo permetterebbe”, spiega Franz Gurschler e aggiunge con un sorriso: “Certo, oggi siamo contenti delle grandi finestre. Nessun castello è forse così luminoso e inondato di luce come Castel Naturno.”
