EIN STREIFZUG DURCH SEIN ZUHAUSE.
Eigentlich ist Harry Prünster ja Lehrer und übte den Beruf auch von 1978 bis 1992 aus. Mit Leib und Seele. Doch bereits am Gymnasium, als er selbst noch zur Schule ging, hatte sein Religionslehrer Prof. Walter Tschol sein humoristisches Talent entdeckt. Er überredete den 16-jährigen Schüler, im ORF Landesstudio Tirol vorzusprechen. Otto Grünmandl, der damalige Radio-Unterhaltungschef und Kabarettist, förderte Harrys Talent. Im Alter von 21 Jahren warb ihn der Leiter der Volkskultur, Dr. Friedrich Haider, für den Radiofrühschoppen des ORF Landesstudios Tirol an, dem er bis heute treu blieb. Und das ist längst nicht alles, was er zu bieten hat.
Mittlerweile widmet sich Harry Prünster neben zahlreichen Liveauftritten seiner Sendung „Harrys liabste Hütt’n“. Im Sommer wie im Winter macht er dabei Lust aufs Wandern und Radeln oder Skifahren. Auch in der Silberregion Karwendel – seiner Heimat, dessen Testimonial Harry seit letztem Jahr auch ist. Authentischer geht es kaum, kennt er die Vielfalt der Region doch von Kindesbeinen an. Wir haben ihn nach seinen Lieblingsplätzen gefragt. Herausgekommen ist eine etwas andere Homestory.

TV presenter and humorist Harry Prünster was born in Schwaz and grew up here. He knows the region very well with all of its most beautiful places. Here is a foray through his home.
From 1978 to 1992, Harry Prünster was a teacher with heart and soul. However, already at grammar school, when he himself was still at school, his religion teacher Prof. Walter Tschol discovered his humorous talent. He persuaded the 16-year-old student to audition for the ORF Tyrol regional studio. Otto Grünmandl, the head of radio entertainment and cabaret artist at the time, supported Harry's talent. At the age of 21, the head of folk culture Dr. Friedrich Haider recruited him for the morning radio show Radiofrühschoppen of the ORF Landesstudio Tirol, to which he has remained loyal to this day. But he is involved in much more than that.
Harry Prünster dedicates himself to his own show "Harrys liabste Hütten" (Harry's favourite huts) in addition to numerous live performances. In summer as in winter, he inspires people to go hiking and biking or skiing. Also in the Silverregion Karwendel - his homeland, whose testimonial Harry is also since last year. It could hardly get any more authentic, as he has known the diversity of the region since childhood. We asked him about his favorite places. The result is a somewhat different home story.
