The Steel Horse Saloon The Steel Horse Saloon opened on February 22nd of this year by proprietors Rob Frye and Steve Nofsinger. Golfing and riding buddies of 8 years, they realized they had a similar dream in being owner operators of a fun drinking establishment. The theme is bikers and cowboys, but everyone is welcome, friends gather here.

Located at 102 11th Ave N. in downtown Nampa, The Steel Horse Saloon sits in a historic building that has been standing since 1898. It has been a train engine shop, an old blacksmith shop, a pawn shop and a restaurant called the Mona Lisa among other businesses. Currently the building is also home to a motorcycle shop, a tattoo/piercing shop, another tattoo parlor and a patch and leather accessory shop. With an ever expanding list of things to offer, currently there are 4 pools teams playing, with dart leagues starting up in the fall. Kareoke, DJ music, jam sessions and live music are all on the schedule in the near future. Being a smoke free building, there will be a smoking section being added in the spring. A full bar is offered, with a soon to be large selection of local beers

and wines on the horizon. The kitchen will open soon with a weekday lunch special, and possibly a monthly dinner special too. Bar catering services are on the agenda as well for private parties or weddings. A weekday happy hour is from 3 pm-6 pm, and on holidays there is always something different offered. From bike washes, car show and shines and fundraising or memorial rides, there might always be something going on in the parking lot on any given Saturday. You could even run into some of The Beet City Bombers (Women’s Roller Derby) here for an after hour party, as The Steel Horse Saloon is their home bar. This is a new business venture for Rob and Steve, and they would love to hear from you, so stop on by one day and see the fun to be had, or just relax with friends and visit over a beverage. Sundays are known for their Bloody Marys, come by and have one. Any of the grateful therapists/bartenders are hear to help, so come meet Will, Holly, Levi or Mary-um. And as always, look for us on Facebook and like our page: The Steel Horse Saloon in Nampa, ID.

Cheers, see you soon!!!

Vizcaya Winery is the vision of Larry and Kay Hansen, fueled by their Estate Vineyards in Meridian and Kuna, and the wine making expertise of Mike Crowley (Syringa). The Hansen’s started growing Tempranillo and other varietals in 2004 at their Windy Ridge Estate vineyard. After several years of providing grapes for other wineries, they decided to produce their own wine. They’ve grown to include two vineyards, a new production facility, and offer Ten different wines at their tasting room. Vizcaya Winery is known for their award winning Tempranillo and Albarino wines.

It offers a panoramic view of the Treasure Valley including spectacular views of Schafer Butte, Squaw Butte, the Sawtooth Mtns, and the Owyhee Mtns. Hat Ranch Winery & Vineyard/ Vale Wine Company 2019 Idaho Winery OF THE YEAR!

Hat Ranch History Founded in 2011, the Harless family is proud to take the HAT Ranch name from their great-grandparents, who created the HAT Ranch homestead as a farm and ranch in 1902. Inspired by their pioneering ancestors who set out to make a new life in the Great Northwest, they have followed suit by choosing Idaho as their winemaking homestead, the great new frontier of the wine industry. In 2014, Hat Ranch founders Tim and Helen took over production of Vale Wine Company. Today, Vale wines are committed to quality, traditional varieties, complementing the Hat Ranch brand of artisan blends, lesser-known wine varieties, and small lot wines. Both labels continue to seek the best grapes grown in the Snake River Valley region of Idaho. Visit Us Come out and taste with us at our new tasting room, located on the Sunnyslope Wine Trail in the heart of the Snake River Valley AVA wine country. We can’t wait to see you!
