lorenzofertita.” This guy is serious about staying busy. He was willing to go in a month’s notice with Diego Sanchez — which, I might add, would be an amazing fight to see and could be a main event itself. The UFC is figuring out McGregor’s next opponent Law and seem to be eyeing January for his match, but something tells me we’ll see him again before that. I personally can’t wait to see him in the cage again. I think they should just go ahead and give him the title shot, which he will inevitably get anyway. He doesn’t plan on stopping with that belt, either. He has said on multiple occasions that once he takes the belt from Jose Aldo at Featherweight, he plans to move up in weight and take the Lightweight belt from Anthony Pettis. Will this guy end up holding two belts at once? I definitely believe he has the talent, drive and motivation to do so. Brett Law is Connect’s MMA columnist and encourages your input and responses! Conor McGregor made it clear in a recent Twitter post that he's champing at the bit to take on UFC 180 after the card fell apart due to injuries.

Conor McGregor is absolutely the real deal. The Irishman is only just coming into his prime at only 26 years old, but with a record of 16-2, “Notorious” will no doubt be a champion soon enough. This is a guy whose fights you never want to miss; Brett in his words, “Not only do I win the fight, I call the round.” He did just so with his last match, predicting a first-round knockout which came to fruition on fight day. This guy devastates his opponents inside the cage and seems unstoppable right now. He’s unlike any other fighter in that he doesn't want to sit around and wait for a championship bout. He wants to fight as much as possible, with no fear or second thoughts about his match-ups. He fought recently in backto-back pay per views at UFC 178 and 179. Once the UFC 180 card began to fall apart with Cain Velasquez, Diego Sanchez and Joe Lauzon forced to pull out with injuries during training, McGregor took to Twitter to say, “UFC 178 - The McGregor Show, UFC 179 - The McGregor Show, UFC 180 - Say the word and it’s done @danawhite @

Prepare for an evening of absolute pleasure "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" has been a cult classic participation film since the late 70s, and still continues to flourish each year. For those who have never seen the film, it is actually not a horror film. It’s a science fiction rock musical filled with transsexuals, aliens, creating the perfect man and many other lovely things — and this year, it’s back at the Averitt Center for the Arts for a one-night show on Oct. 29. The live show consists of watching the film while a “shadow cast” acts along in full, scandalous costume and with props. This is an extremely interactive event, so participation

is key. There will be a plethora of fishnets, corsets and cross-dressing, like any good time, so don't be afraid to let your freak flag fly. Attendees will be provided a prop bag full of goodies to be used throughout the show. There will be instructions on when to use certain props and when to yell certain things. (Example: Every time you hear “Brad Majors” and “Janet,” you’re encouraged to yell things that we’re not allowed to print in this publication. We don’t make the rules, people.) If you’re a newcomer, you might want to brace yourself: one tradition

DON'T:

➤ INTERACT. Yell at the screen. Yell

➤ COME NAKED. We just felt this was worth repeating. ➤ THROW TOAST/RICE. It's a tradition at lots of shows, but the Averitt Center asked particpants not to this time around. Stick with what's in your prop bag. ➤ TOUCH THE PERFORMERS. Even if you really, really want to.

This year's cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show is ready to make you laugh, make you cry (probably from laughing too hard) and catapult you out of your comfort zone. for the live show includes the “virgin sacrifice.” Those who have never seen a live show are marked upon entry with a V for “virgin” on their faces. During the preshow, all willing virgins are asked to go on stage to participate in a series of, shall we say, “unique games.” The games vary from venue to venue with new games added each year, and could be anything from creating the best sex noise to see who can take off their bra the quickest without removing any other clothes. "I had to hold a Twinkie at my crotch and let another girl eat it," said Charlie Bowen, who has participated in the show for the past three years and will play the role of Frank ‘N Furter this year. inducting newcomers into the family and getting them to participate. The sacrifice happens during the pre-show and includes prizes for the winners. The pre-show will also include a costume contest, so don't be afraid to get risqué. All costumes are welcomed; dressing like the cast is not necessary. Those who are not able to make it to the live show can meet and mingle with the cast at Fuzzy's Taco Stand for the after-party. This year the show will be only one night, so be sure to purchase tickets in case the show sells out. The Avertitt Center box office will be pre-selling tickets for $5. Tickets at the door will be $7. The show will begin at 8 p.m. with the pre-show beginning at 7:30 p.m.w

I think we got our point across. Georgia Southern not only took Georgia State out behind the woodshed for a Saturday afternoon beat-down, the Eagles rubbed the Panthers’ noses in it during the final few minutes of the game. The cheerleaders brought out banners that read “Paulson Stadium North” and added the “U” flag to the “G” and “S” that they had been running onto the field with for the entire game. Eagle fans chanted “GSU” and “Whose house? Our House!” for most of the fourth quarter. It was the 300th victory in the modern era of Georgia Southern football and man, it was a sweet one. It turns out that simply being in downtown Atlanta can’t prevent you from toting a thorough butt-kicking from a small town in South Georgia — both on the field and off. Eagle fans made up the vast majority of the crowd and were loud and standing nearly all game long, while the few State fans who were there stayed pretty quiet. Eagle Nation definitely showed up and took over. On the field, Georgia Southern ran wild as the Eagles made the Panthers’ defense look silly all afternoon. Southern rolled up 613 rushing yards and had six different players score touchdowns. The only blemish on an otherwise great afternoon for Georgia Southern was the pass defense. We knew State would be able to move the ball through the air, but Nick Arbuckle’s 24-for-38, 408-yard, four-touchdown performance was more offense than Eagle fans wanted to see out of the Panthers. But you have to give credit to Arbuckle and wide receiver Donovan Harden — who had 11 catches for 186 yards and all four touchdowns — for playing one heck of a game. Those guys are ball players. Tattler Game Ball: I couldn’t decide between the two, so this week’s game ball goes to both quarterback Kevin Ellison and running back Matt Breida. Ellison ran the option as effectively as I have ever seen it run — and that’s

saying something, coming from a lifelong Georgia Southern fan. He made the right reads all afternoon and finished with 115 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. At times, he looked like he was Alex Brown toying with the Panther defense that appeared to be running in slow motion all afternoon. He also completed five of six pass attempts for 47 yards. And how about Matt Breida? All he did was carry the ball 12 times and rack up 201 yards and four touchdowns. His 75-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second half opened up the floodgates in what was a 10-point halftime lead for the Eagles. As much fun as that game was, Southern has to re-focus quickly on a Thursday-night matchup with Troy. It will be the Eagles’ second Thursdaynight, ESPNU-televised game this season. To say Troy has struggled this season would be an understatement. The Trojans are just 1-7 overall and 1-3 in

Sun Belt play. Their lone win came in an inspired effort over New Mexico State the week their longtime head coach Larry Blakeney announced his retirement. The following week, they got smoked 53-14 by Appalachian State — another team who is having a season to forget. Last week, Troy fell 27-13 at South Alabama. Hopefully, the fact that they also played a rival on the road will put the teams on even ground mentally. Other than that, this one looks like a blowout on paper. But Georgia Southern can’t feel that way even though the Eagles open the week as 24-point favorites. Troy has athletes and, as poorly as their season has gone, the Trojans are fully capable of knocking off the Eagles on national television if Southern doesn’t show up to play. Tattler Prediction: Both teams will be shaking off the effects of a rivalry game and a short week early on, but the Eagles will pull away in the second half. Eagles 42, Trojans 17 We only have one home game after this one. Let’s pack Paulson, Eagle Nation!w

EA Sports says that over 600 layups and dunks were motion-captured and redone to blend together for a much favorable experience. Controls are also a lot more responsive. Compared to the NBA 2K15, it seems to be a lot easier to run fast breaks in NBA Live 15. The presentation is very nice and the addition of ESPN and commentary from Jeff Van Gundy and Mike Been only add to it. Also, the halftime show with Jalen Rose gives a great deal of breakdowns to keep gamers intrigued. And maybe the biggest positive NBA Live 15 has over the 2K series is a consistent online connectivity. However, this may be attributed to the fact there are many more people playing the 2K series. Gamers shouldn't expect a dethroning of NBA 2K but, rather, rejoice in the fact that NBA Live has finally got their priorities together and created a decent, solid basketball game this year. Personally, I enjoy the gameplay of NBA Live 15 over 2K15. NBA Live is heading in the right direction with a legitimately fun basketball game that now has visuals it doesn't have to be ashamed of.w

Your impulsive nature and effervescent disposition will attract attention and bring about a personal challenge. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23– Dec. 21) — It's vital that you keep meticulous records of your personal expenditures and assets. You work hard, but money has a way of slipping through your fingers if you become too complacent. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22– Jan. 19) — You will have to decide whether a romantic relationship has become onesided. If you do not share the same depth of feeling, a serious discussion is in order. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20– Feb. 19) — Trust your intuition if something doesn't feel right, and make the necessary alterations. Use discretion. Refrain from being too forthcoming with your opinions to avoid being put in a vulnerable position.

Invasion of the drunk zombie Santa

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Police have cited a 21-year-old man they say entered a St. Paul home drunk and dressed as a Santa Claus zombie, terrifying a 16-year-old girl who locked herself in a bathroom. St. Paul police said Monday the University of St. Thomas student was cited for trespassing and taken to a detoxification center Saturday. Police found him asleep in the house

hours after a Zombie Pub Crawl in Minneapolis. Neighbor and Ramsey County Judge Margaret Marrinan tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit. ly/1w3GO2L ) a 14-year-old boy fled from the house and called for help when he discovered the intruder. She says his 16-year-old sister locked herself in a bathroom to call their parents. The teens' father said that no one in his family "will ever think of Santa the same way."w
