Did they answer all your questions? Were they evasive, confusing, or hesitant? What type of cost will you have to incur? 4. Never pay a potential employer for a job. A real employer will not ask for money to work for them, or for postage and supplies. They may ask you to fill out an application, provide a resume, and references, and a sign W-4 form. An employer pays you for work you have completed for them and withhold all required taxes, etc. Do not confuse a “job” offer with a business opportunity. 5. Make copies of all paperwork you receive from any company soliciting help in stuffing envelopes or brochures, or any application for a loan. Also make copies of all money orders or checks you send.
