naTuRE SCHooL In 2011, Tyresö Nature School has on 91 occasions educated the following groups: • 1 530 pupils from 2nd, 5th and 9th year have taken part in the Nature Schools thematic education • 75 students from SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) have been on nature tours • 90 children from pre-school, 2nd and 3rd year have been on Adventure tours • 100 members of pre-school and primary school staff participated in 6 further education courses • 50 people participated in two public events; a Family Day with landing nets in the water at Kolardammarna and a Haymaking Day at Ahlstorp. 10

naTuRE TouRS 440 people participated in 38 guided nature tours that were offered in various parts of Tyresö. The tours were adapted for different target groups and free of charge.

Tyresö is one of the five municipalities in the Stockholm region that people would most like to move to. 18
