The university has increased the financial value of scholarships to help more students conquer the cost of a college education. All UAFS scholarships are for four years or until the completion of a Bachelor’s degree. Students are required to declare a major within their first year. UAFS scholarships do not apply to UA Fayetteville engineering students with the exception of the Boreham Engineering Scholarship.

UAFS Financial Aid Mission Statement: “The UAFS Financial Aid Office seeks to maximize student aid eligibility by being responsible stewards of all federal, state, and institutional funds. Through quality service and the expertise of our professional and support staff we strive to provide timely financial aid assistance to students and their parents to minimize financial barriers.”

Students may not be awarded more than one UAFS scholarship. UAFS scholarships are stackable with UAFS Foundation scholarships.

All UAFS scholarships require students to be college level on their ACT. College level requires students to have obtained at least a 19 in all subsections along with their composite score. UAFS does not super-score ACT exams.
