where you’ll fit in – and stand out.
what it takes to be competitive.
We value our transfers, which is why we make it as easy as possible for you to come here. Our transfer-friendly application process will let you know from the very beginning how many credits you can put toward earning your degree, so you won’t have to wonder about which classes to take – or worse, repeat them. And unlike freshman admissions, what matters most is not your standardized test scores or high school GPA, but your proven record of performance at your previous institution. Because we know you’ve worked hard to get where you are – and we know you’re ready to take the next step.
As you grow, so do your interests. What captivated and challenged you two years ago may not today. At UAH, we offer 39 undergraduate degree programs across five colleges, so that no matter what you want to study, you can find a curriculum that will inspire you. We’re also able to give you opportunities outside the classroom that can’t be matched elsewhere, from internship and co-op positions to performing hands-on research in our highly regarded labs. That gives you a unique advantage when it comes to getting a job in your field – something we know for a fact that our transfers take very seriously.
inspired by your surroundings. You’re on your way to becoming the person you want to be, whether it’s a nurse, a novelist, or a nuclear engineer. Let UAH help you get there. Our campus anchors Cummings Research Park, the second-largest research park in the nation, and our colleges maintain strong alliances with local employers like NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, the Department of Defense, and the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. So UAH has the connections and the networking opportunities you need to find your dream job – and the support you need to land it, thanks to our professionally staffed Career Development Office.
