YOUR EDUCATION IS AN INVESTMENT IN YOUR FUTURE. And there’s no better place to invest than in The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Why? Because UAH offers an affordable, high-quality education that results in secure, well-paying jobs. In fact, both Payscale and Affordable Schools recently ranked UAH #1 for the best financial return on investment among all Alabama postsecondary schools, public and private. Our graduates also also go on to earn higher average starting salaries and higher midcareer earnings, in addition to having a higher earnings potential than those from other Alabama schools – all of which makes UAH an investment not only in your education but in your future as well. So GO to a school you can afford, LEARN without financial worry, and BE inspired to follow your passion – knowing that a good job awaits you after graduation. Now that’s real value.

RESIDENCY Resident tuition applies to Alabama residents and residents of the following Tennessee counties: Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Giles, Lawrence, Lincoln, Marshall, Moore, and Marion. All students registering at UAH who do not demonstrate, by presenting satisfactory evidence, that they are “resident students” will pay a “non-resident student” tuition. * The figures to the right represent the cost for students who live in a traditional residence hall with a dining plan. Fees may be higher depending on the student’s major. A complete listing of all tuition, fees, and room and board charges can be found at uah.edu/bursar. These amounts are determined by the Board of Trustees of The University of Alabama, and are subject to change.

SCHOLARSHIPS Scholarships are a great way to pay for your college education, and best of all, they are a financial award that does not have to be repaid. Scholarships are awarded based on excellence in academics, community service, or other criteria. To be considered for any UAH scholarships, you must first apply for admission. Merit Tuition Scholarships are guaranteed for first-time freshmen who are admitted and meet the GPA and test score requirements. To be considered for our 200+ Competitive Scholarships, you will also need to submit a separate scholarship application, located at uah.edu/scholarships.

Plan for educational costs using UAH’s Net Price Calculator: uah.studentaidcalculator.com.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID? 1 Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority deadline of April 1 at fafsa.gov (UAH code: 001055). 2 Provide any required follow-up documents to UAH’s Office of Financial Aid.
