Editorial excellence Ink is the world’s leading publisher of onboard magazines, catalogs and IFE guides for more airlines than any other publisher in the world. Since being appointed the new publisher of United Airlines Hemispheres in March 2009, Ink has taken the magazine to new levels both creatively and commercially. Ink’s editorial and design team continues to impress readers every month with a magazine that is open-minded, whimsical and free-wheeling. Readers receive a simple message: The world is bigger than you thought. It’s more fascinating. More exciting. And yes, we can take you there! United Hemispheres seeks to tap into the traveler in each of us, to heighten our need for adventure, possibility and new horizons. No other airline magazine can boast such a heavyweight editorial & design team, and this is clear from the minute you open the magazine. MIKE GUY, EDITOR IN CHIEF Mike is a writer and former editor at Rolling Stone and Details, and contributes to Men’s Journal, Playboy and The New York Times Magazine. His writing appears in The Best American Sports Writing 2009 anthology. JOE KEOHANE, EXECUTIVE EDITOR Before coming to Hemispheres, Joe worked as a writer-atlarge and city columnist for Boston magazine. His stories, on everything from politics to business to the arts, have appeared in Slate.com, New York Magazine, Conde Nast Portfolio, The Boston Globe, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Week, GQ.com and other publications. CHRISTINE BOWER-WRIGHT, ART DIRECTOR Christine is an award winning art director and graphic designer with extensive editorial experience. Her work has contributed to the success of such brands as Rolling Stone, Art & Auction and most recently Billboard.
