Lindsey (Mony) Calvoni & Michael Calvoni BFA 2014 Musical Theatre

Alumn After graduating with their BFA degrees in Musical Theatre, Lindsey and Michael went to Washington State to perform in Bat Boy: The Musical at the Numerica PAC. Shortly after, they moved to New York City where they had a great start to their careers. After being high school sweethearts for seven years, they got married in Spring, 2016. In the Spring of 2017, they moved back to Scottsdale, Arizona, and became the new owners and directors of Do Re Mi School of the Arts, a children's performing arts program for children ages three to 18. Do Re Mi relies heavily on developing self esteem by striving toward excellence in the performing arts. Lindsey was a part of this program for 15 years and it's a dream come true for both of them to own Do Re Mi together. Learn more about the program at doremischool.com.

Notes Leah Mednick Foley MFA 2017 Costume Design & Technology

Leah is a Costume Designer and Technician living in New York City. She has spent the last two summer seasons at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA, as an Assistant Costume Designer and First Hand. Her credits there include Cymbeline (Assistant Costume Designer) and Ugly Lies the Bone (Assistant Costume Designer). At the UA, Leah was credited with the costume design for the Arizona Repertory Theatre productions of Evita and Epic Proportions. Currently, she is working at the Signature Theatre Company, where she is a stitcher for The Red Letter Plays by Suzan-Lori Parks.

At each lm screened this year, a faculty member will give an introduction that not only gives fascinating historical and artistic context, but also explains why they chose their particular lm. PROFILES Brent Gibbs (Fight Director) - heads the Acting Program at the UA where he teaches Acting and Stage Combat. A Certified Teacher and Fight Director with the Society of American Fight Directors he has taught classes in stage combat around the U.S. and in Europe and has worked on fights for theatres from Thailand to New York. He was the first Fight Director to win the Arizona State Theatre Award for Excellence in Choreography. As the Artistic Director for the Arizona Repertory Theatre he has directed Execution of Justice; The Crucible; On the Razzle; Les Liaisons Dangereuses; Absurd Person Singular; The Rivals; Rain. Some Fish. No Elephants.; Brighton Beach Memoirs; Scenes from an Execution; Biloxi Blues; Broadway Bound; Bus Stop; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof; Medea; Rum & Coke; The Tamer Tamed; Dracula; The Voice of the Prairie; How I Learned to Drive; Boeing Boeing; The Glass Menagerie and Frankenstein as well as many others. Maryann Trombino (Costume Designer) – is a Jersey girl living in Tucson for the past 30 years. She is delighted to be working with the students at the UA sharing her skills and knowledge of costuming from the many areas of her own costume journeyfrom building costumes for Broadway to Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Clown College, to many of the community theatres in Tucson. ​ Rachael Snow (Scenic Designer) – is thrilled to present her second scenic design for Arizona Repertory Theatre with Tigers Be Still. Previously, she was the scenic designer for the UA production of Hands on a Hardbody (2016), scenic charge for Proof (2017) and scenic artist for many other productions. She is currently completing her final semester at the UA and will be moving to Orlando, FL, in January to pursue a career in Themed Entertainment Design. Rachael thanks her mother and sister for their constant support! Tori Mays (Lighting Designer) – is excited to be back at Arizona Repertory Theatre as a secondyear Lighting Design MFA candidate, after spending a summer on the "Jersey Shore" as the Lighting Designer for The Surflight Theatre. Recent credits include: Newsies, Joseph...Dreamcoat and Footloose for Surflight Theatre, Dialogues of the Carmelite (UA Opera), and Born Yesterday (Arizona Repertory Theatre). Selected Assistant Lighting Design Credits include: The Burlesque Show (Borgata Casino Atlantic City), Holmes and Watson and Ring of Fire for Arizona Theatre Company, and Hands on a Hardbody (Arizona Repertory Theatre). Darrin Wood (Sound Designer) – moved to Tucson from Sierra Vista, AZ, to pursue a future as a musician after his first attempt at college was somewhat derailed. He didn't think of becoming an audio engineer until age 23. He noticed that a good friend and band mate enjoyed mixing for a living. He approached his friend to request mentoring, and later

joined the Theatre Department at the UA to explore new and unique avenues of audio and design while earning a BFA in Sound Design and Engineering. Darrin thanks Matthew Marcus and Frank Bair, along with a handful of others, in keeping his interest in the field fresh and improving his ability to succeed. Melissa Arnaud (Technical Director) – Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Melissa is studying to earn her BFA in Theatre Production, with an emphasis in Technical Direction and Stage Management. She is very excited to be the Technical Director for Tigers Be Still! Other Arizona Repertory Theatre credits include last year's Hands On A Hardbody as Assistant Technical Director, and as Master Carpenter for Proof. This past summer, she worked in Medora, ND, with The Medora Musical! as a carpenter, and also worked for Arizona Theatre Company’s Summer On Stage as the Stage Manager for Macbeth. Next semester, Melissa will close out her senior year as the Stage Manager for Doubt, a Parable. She thanks her friends and family for their love and support. Amber Rudnick (Stage Manager) – is a senior, dual Stage Management and Sound Design major. Her Arizona Repertory Theatre credits include Assistant Stage Manager for Reckless and Proof, and Sound Designer for Born Yesterday. Amber’s upcoming credits include Sound Designer on A Streetcar Named Desire and Assistant Stage Manager for Doubt, a Parable. Amber also spent this past summer with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey as an intern Assistant Stage Manager for A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Max Anton Protzen (Assistant Director) – is thrilled to be assistant directing for Tigers Be Still. Originally from Albuquerque, NM, he has been acting in theatre for 14 years and is very excited to have this incredible opportunity to step on the other side of the table and try his hand at directing. Max thanks the stunning cast and understudies of Tigers Be Still, for their patience and dedication. PROFILES Zachary Austin (Joseph u/s) – Zachary is a sophomore in the BFA Acting program. He is thrilled to be back at work in this production of Tigers Be Still. He was last seen at Arizona Repertory Theatre playing the role of Valentine in Twelfth Night. He thanks his friends and family for all their unwavering support. Alec Michael Coles (Joseph) – is a senior in the BFA Acting program. He was last seen as Malvolio in Arizona Repertory Theatre's production of Twelfth Night. Other UA credits include Born Yesterday, Epic Proportions, RENT, Barefoot in the Park and Othello. He thanks Brent, Kelly, Kristian, Michael, Amber, Tim, Andi and everyone involved in this touching production. He also thanks Paige for her friendship, patience and for her moving performances of this show in our living room. Rebecca Galcik (Grace u/s) – is a sophomore in the BFA Acting program. She is excited to be understudying the role of Grace in Arizona Repertory Theatre's production of Tigers Be Still. Some past roles include: Morticia Addams in The Addams Family, Ingrid Lars in Merry Murders at Monte Marie, and Vi Moore in Footloose. Kelly Hajek (Sherry) - is a junior in the BFA Acting program and is humbled to be playing the role of Sherry in Arizona Repertory Theatre's production of Tigers Be Still. Some of her past roles include: Claire in Proof, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible and Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde: The Musical. Kelly is also a modern dancer and choreographer. She thanks the cast and crew of Tigers Be Still for their support and encouragement throughout this process. Christopher Harper (Zack u/s) - is from Sierra Vista, AZ, and is excited to return to the Arizona Repertory Theatre to understudy Zack in this production. You may have seen him in Twelfth Night as Curio directed by Brent Gibbs. He thanks his friends and professors for thier guidance and encouragement. Michael Schulz (Zack) - is nineteen years old and a sophomore at the UA. He is working towards getting his BFA in Musical Theatre and is so excited to be a part of this production! Before beginning his work at the University, Michael worked at Arizona Broadway Theatre and as a touring musician and singer with TAD Management. THEATRE POLICIES House Policies: Please turn off watch alarms, mobile phones, pagers, and all other electronic devices. Food, beverages and smoking are not permitted inside the theatre. The use of cameras or recording devices of any kind are strictly prohibited. Children five and under and strollers are not permitted inside the theatre. Seating Policy: Productions begin on time. Generally, each theatre will open for seating 30 minutes before curtain. There is no late seating. Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable. All ticket sales are final. Emergency Messages: Physicians and other patrons expecting emergency calls during a performance are asked to leave their paging devices with the House Manager.
