As one of our generous community partners, Linde (formerly Praxair) will be providing an entire day of tours and activities at their facility. Additional off-site visits include a trip to Dupont Corian® and Rich Products. Campers will also have the opportunity to tour and work in laboratories throughout the chemical and biological engineering department on UB’s Amherst campus.
Cost Camp tuition is $400 for the week and covers all camp materials, food and transportation. Need-based scholarships will be available to cover the full cost of the program. Regardless of income, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate. We ask that scholarship applicants be from families with a household income less than $60K/year.
At the end of the week, campers will go home with: •
Camp Swag: T-Shirt, drawstring bag, water bottle, safety glasses, and more
•
Certificate of completion
•
An appreciation for the role of chemical engineering in society
•
Improved perspective for making college and career choices
