ELIGIBILITY

These scholarships are for domestic students with a CGPA of 3.8 or higher.

AWARD VALUE

Master of Business Administration CGPA 4.30 - $1,200 CGPA 4.00 - $800 CGPA 3.80 - $400

BCom/BABC CGPA 4.30 - $4,800 CGPA 4.00 - $3,200 CGPA 3.80 - $1,600

AA CGPA 4.30 - $2,400 CGPA 4.00 - $1,600 CGPA 3.80 - $800

MBA Foundation Study Grant

APPLICABLE PROGRAMS

• Master of Business Administration with MBA Foundation

ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for this grant, you must meet the following requirements: • Submit a completed scholarship application form when applying for admission to UCW • Submit a Personal Statement describing how undertaking the Master of Business Administration and MBA Foundation programs will impact your career and personal goals • Complete the MBA Foundation program and the MBA degree program within 36 months of starting your MBA Foundation courses • Have a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.33

MBA Excellence Scholarship for Continuing Students

APPLICABLE PROGRAMS

• Master of Business Administration

ELIGIBILITY

This scholarship is open to current students in the MBA program who have completed MBA degree Tier 2 courses (courses numbered 600 and higher) equivalent to at least 27 credits with a minimum CGPA of 3.80. Students who have received an entrance scholarship are not eligible to apply for the MBA Excellence Scholarship for Continuing Students.

Pathway to Knowledge Bursary

APPLICABLE PROGRAMS

• Bachelor of Commerce • Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to domestic students who have a CGPA of 2.33 (C+) or higher on their qualification used as their basis for admission.

University Canada West Founder’s Scholarship

APPLICABLE PROGRAMS

• Bachelor of Commerce • Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication • Associate of Arts

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to domestic applicants who demonstrate the following (at the time of the award application): • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency • Graduation from high school within the past 12 months with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.00

AWARD VALUE

A maximum of 20 students will be awarded a full tuition scholarship every year.

The Emily Baker Scholarship

APPLICABLE PROGRAMS

• Master of Business Administration

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to domestic applicants from a Canadian Indigenous community – specifically First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples – who are accepted to either the Summer or Fall intakes.

AWARD VALUE

A maximum of one Indigenous student will be awarded a full tuition scholarship every year.

Canada 150 Tuition Concession for the Armed Forces

APPLICABLE PROGRAMS

• Master of Business Administration • Bachelor of Commerce • Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication • Associate of Arts

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to domestic applicants who are either active members, reservists or veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces.

AWARD VALUE

Recipients will receive a 30% lower tuition rate.

Financial Aid

There are many ways to pay for your degree at University Canada West. There are scholarships and awards you may qualify for that you do not have to pay back at the end of your studies. If you are currently employed and wish to study while you work, your employer may also be able to help you.

Government Student Loans

Government student loans are available to Canadians who demonstrate financial need. The federal and provincial governments will pay the interest accumulated on the loan while the student attends school on a full-time basis. However, repayment of any government student loan will commence six months after your studies end.
