Past My name is Gio, I am from Shaoxing, one of the famous water towns in China. When I was a child, I was interested in painting. Whenever I see clothes designed by famous designers on TV, I will be attracted. Those clothes are so attractive, which also makes me like fashion and want to learn more about it.
Now During this five-week course, we visited many different galleries and museums. These have played a very important role in me, which not only broadens our horizons, but also increases our understanding of this profession. In addition, through this five-week course, I also know some of the things I need to pay attention to in my speech, and also help me improve my English.
Future There will be more challenges and many problems in the future, and there are still many things we have to learn. Maybe I can learn a lot about fashion management in the future, but that is only part of the fashion industry. I can't fully understand all the knowledge. In general, even if I am busy in the future, I will still take the time to study fashion seriously.
CONG JIN Connie Past I come from Shanghai, I used to study fashion design at Jiangxi Technology University. When I was a high school student, I was interested in a fashion show, so I decided to study this subject. Besides, I like to read vogue and some fashion magazines in my lesiure time.
Now (memorable experience) During the PSEAD course, my class and I visited many museums and galleries of different styles. There are artwork and they inspired me that I cannot only use brushes to create my work but also use other materials such as stickers. After I realized this, I use many beads to design a sign of my project. It seems amazing and funny that I was addicted to do design.
Future After I have practised the presentation for many times, I feel more confident when I was do the presentation and my logic is more clear than before. I hope I can do more body language when I doing my presentation and solve the problem of increasing my volume. I can also learn how to cooperate with other classmates which means I can do the team work better.
CHING LIN Lynn Past My name is Lynn,I'm hometwon is Taipei, but I study and live in Shanghia when I was a child. I first contacted and studied fashion design was in Jiaotong University last year. The reason I studied fashion design was I belive cloth can show one person's persenality. And I also very enjoy the fashion design class and design the clothes.
M e a n i n g f u l experiences Every Friday, teacher Seth lead us to some museum or exhibition about arts. I didn't went to these places before.We went to 1933, Shnaghai Art Gallary, M50 Creative Garden and I'm take the pre-sessional Power Station of Art. I learned arts english for art and design. In can express with many different these five weeks, I study with ways. the classmates everyday. When we do the projects, teacher divided us into several small groups. I am very unaccommodated at first time because I'm afraid talk with unfamiliar people. But, after one week, I realize that I must express my ideas helping the group more perfect. And this enlish class give me confident to sppeak english.
Now
Future I want to be a fashion designer in the future and I will study hard. To be a environmental fashion designer is my dream. When I design and produce the clothes without harm the environment, such as using and creating environmental with no harmful substances materials.
CHEN INTRODUCTON i am chenyu, i am studied preparatory courses in cambridge,UK. and my major was fashion promotion. in the past year, when i firt came into contact with fashion design, i was excited and nervous.
MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES a very meaningful experiences for me was a visit to the M50 creative park. what attracts me most is an art exhibition in six islands, whose design style is mainly technology. when i see one of the paitings, if you look closely, you will find that the characters moving in the painting. Besides,i also learned the necessary interaction skills,body language, asking questions to the audience and speaking out boldly and fluently. Every friday, the teaher will take us to different exhibitions to record the thoughts and plans of each day through the blog.
Through the five-week course, i began to learn to work in groups and share my ideas with others. at the same time, learning how to make plan about my project. i will use these skills to my future life.
