You can find three supermarkets in the town, and also it provides clubs to have night activities. Most important thing is that inhabitant here are very very kind and it is totally safe in here. You won’t in dangerous I promise! The accommodation has always been a center of life for foreign students. There are two halls of residence on campus at Farnham, which are the Student Village and Main Hall. Most of the rooms are single with shared facilities but there are small number of twin rooms in the Main Hall and very limited number of ensuite rooms in the Student Village (these are normally allocated to students with a specific medical need for their own bathroom).

Tate modern is one of the most famous modern galleries in the world. There are a lot of interesting art works, art books and people who were tourists, students, family etc. I could see creative and historical art works at there. I have never seen these great art works before. At first I could not believe that entrance is free. It is an amazing point for students. When I went to other Europe countries, there were also great museums, galleries but most of them demanded admission fees.

This PSEAD course is interesting, you can get experience at Tate Modern and could be an creative artists as them.

His work can be classified into three characteristic The First, perfect composition of lighting Second, Classical formative aesthetic of human body Third, Abstract beauty of object. 2, What did he say about his work? In 1988 Mapplethorpe stated: “I don’t like that particular word ‘shocking.’ I’m looking for the unexpected. I’m looking for things I’ve never seen before...I was in a position to take those pictures. I felt an obligation to do them.”

1,Who is the most favorite artist you admired at Tate? Among others at Tate I was interested in Robert Mapplethorpe(1946-1989) who was an American photographer. The exhibition was portraits and self- portraits. There are sixty-four black &white photographs by Mapplethorpe and seventeen vintage prints. In the work is more traditional subjects such as flowers, formal portraits and classical nude.

Even he took a taboo subjects such as homosexual, bisexuality, his work shows perfect beauty. He wouldlike to break away from social norms through his work as he said. 3, What is the best way for seeing exhibitions? When you appreciated his work you should understand what he really intended to show. You should look for website, flyers, map of the gallery before coming or seeing art works. It is good for understanding modern art.
