7:00-9:00 BEAR NATION CELEBRATION Program including presentation of awards, speakers, special recognition & more Dinner (pesto artichoke & tortellini salad; white bean & cucumber salad; carved tenderloin of beef with jus de lie; rum & pepper marinated pink snapper with mango salsa; bacon mac & cheese with parsley; honey almond carrots; summer vegetable saute’; berry shortcake bar) This year’s special recognition will be in honor of Dr. Fletcher Lowry, a longtime coach and administrator at UCA in a career spanning four decades from the 50s through the 80s. The Dr. Fletcher B. Lowry Scholarship Fund was endowed in 2010, awarding a scholarship annually to a UCA baseball student-athlete.
