This year’s special recognition will be in honor of the late Raymond Bright. Coach Bright has been inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame, the UCA Sports Hall of Fame, and the Arkansas Track & Field Hall of Fame. He won 2 conference championships as the Bears’ head football coach in 1965 & 66, & was an assistant on 2 other championship teams. As head track coach, he won 5 titles in 8 years.
