2015 Purple Circle Member of the Year – Nabholz Corporation “Nabholz is a proud supporter of the Central Arkansas Purple Circle Foundation and has been for many years. The Purple Circle is instrumental in enhancing the collegiate experience for more than 400 student athletes in all sports. Gifts to the Purple Circle are a major source of revenue for UCA athletics that have helped them build a competitive Division I athletic program that enhances Conway and all of Central Arkansas. Part of the Nabholz purpose statement is to “build our communities”. We strongly believe in giving to community partners who help enrich the quality of life in our communities, which is exactly what UCA Athletics does through bringing competitive sporting events to our community. We are proud to once again support this effort through the Purple Circle.” — Bill Hannah, Chairman of the Board

HOW AM I MAKING A DIFFERENCE? Each year, your contribution to the Purple Circle provides critical funding to help offset the rising costs of operating an NCAA Division I athletics program. By investing in the Purple Circle, you have a direct and distinct impact on a student-athlete’s athletic achievement, academic growth and personal development. Private fundraising programs help to fund many aspects of a successful athletics program, and the Purple Circle is vital in helping to cover costs of scholarships, student-athlete recruiting efforts, academic programs, travel, facility enhancements and more.

Our teams face top-ranked competition that has frequently exposed the University of Central Arkansas name to the nation. We believe our coaches and student-athletes are doing much to provide a great entertainment product and bring exciting growth and changes to the Central Arkansas area. Every contribution to the Purple Circle is an investment in the lives of the young men and women who represent UCA with talent, determination, and pride. Join us in this march and thanks for your support! If you have questions or would like to visit in person, please contact us.

LEVELING THE PLAYING FIELD – Private donations are essential as we attempt to get on equal financial footing with many of our competitors around the Southland Conference and FCS-level Division I schools around the nation. In 2015, UCA ranked 5th among Southland schools with revenue of $11,750,081 – nearly $4,000,000 below the average of the top 3 Southland schools and almost $7,000,000 below the average of the 18 public schools with teams in the 2015 NCAA Division I Football Championship playoffs.
